I’d say that we upgraded coaches! From the interviews I’ve seen of KY over the years we couldn’t have gotten a better or more hard working coach than him. God bless him and his young family
Mark Pope improved BYU basketball. Glad KY is here to continue improving BYU basketball! Hoping KY takes BYU basketball to a higher level!! Just hope the scheme install is smooth. Probably some learning curve ahead?
I'm excited to see what he can do here. Hopefully, the guys in the transfer portal will come back and give him a chance. If not, there are probably better players out there who will give him a shot. The grass isn't always greener. Go Cougs!!!

Why can't you naysayers just back off and let the process of hiring Kevin Young as BYU's new basketball coach proceed, and let time be the judge? Mercy. Do you have anything better to do than to be antagonistic about some exciting news changes? We all knew that Coach Pope wouldn't be around for ever. Especially with the kind of money that's offered!! Well.... if anyone watched the introduction ceremony of Mark Pope at Kentucky vs. Coach Young's introduction at BYU... I would have to say that BYU fell on its face here. Come on BYU... you could have done better!!!
