What a Session. Superb Sir. No one can beat our Indian Tutors. Superb Job, explained in a very clear and easy to understand language. Thank You so much
Hi Mallik, many thanks for sharing valuable knowledge with us. There is a question. For an ASM diskgroup with external redundancy , if someone dropped the diskgroup from the ASM , what will be the impact on ASM and Database services?
If there is any performance issue in Oracle RAC server , and application team asked us to stop the rebalancing on the disks , what will be the right steps to improve the performance? Will downtime required for changing the rebalance power for asm disks?
After adding one disk to ASM existing diskgroup bcz of space crunches..my one node rebooted automatically. So where to check what exactly happened during disk add
Ideally disk addition is online activity it should not cause node reboot. check you cluster logs and ASM alert logs and nodes logs and also OS logs to verify the cause of server reboot.
For dynamic rebalance we require normal or higher redundancy right ? If i am using external redundancy and one of my disk is corrupted then how can we recover?

You are welcome
Good session and clystar clear explanation. Please make one video of asm logs and asm instance hung situations. Thanks sir
Noted. Sure I will do it in next session

Very Nice

Good session, but that click volume is annoying. Please try to avoid that.
