    T-Roy! I've been smoking with a Cuisnart 18 1/2" Bullet for about 4 weeks now and since the first disaster with some pork ribs where I smoked them for 6 hours on too low a temp because I didn't lite the charcoal properly! and the ribs came out like rubber, I've watched your videos and learnt so much that now I've cooked ribs, chicken, beef roasts, pork chops, pork steaks, sausages.....even did two bacon bombs! and the family just love it. Thanks to you! I've even cooked steaks by turning my bullet into a kettle. I'm aiming to do a Brisket pretty soon....it'll be awesome I'm sure. You've showed me where I've gone wrong and how to better manage temperature, so thank you.........keep up the good work!!.....Roger

    Can't lie, the Lobel's looked so much more juicer then the store bought. I do a reverse sear on my steaks, and then fire up my propane grill and put a cast iron pan on that until it's smoking. Throw my steaks on there with a tablespoon of butter and let it go for 1 min. Turn the steaks over, another pat of butter and 1 more min. Same mahogany color, but I have no brown banding around the outside of the steak, just beautiful med rare all the way through.

    Fun nice video T-Roy. Although I think the "moisture" on the outside of the steaks after slow cooking is rendered fat. I usually leave that on for a little extra sizzle and even sear. And I always pepper after searing. It burns way too easy over those hot coals.

      @TROYCOOKS 3 года назад

      I'm with ya, pepper definitely burns, so I usually add it after cooking also. I appreciate you watching Derek! Cheers bro!
