The one I mentioned was apparently actually titled "What are Creepers Made of?" I just specifically remember the part of that video that dealt with why/how they explode, rather than their material components.

And also; yeah, Notch hasn't been involved with Minecraft at all for over 12 years. 99% of the lore that MatPats going to be talking about has been created by the team under Jeb; the current head of Mojang.

2 problems, how did the builders make the end portals? They are made using what looks like end stone and powered with eyes of ender... nither are found in the overworld. You can't make something out of things from your destination until you go to your destination first.
There is another person who has done Minecraft theories with a very similar idea to MatPat. RetroGamingNow. He doesn’t make a lot of videos now but he also has lore videos that follow a similar timeline. I would definitely suggest watching them too.
I haven't seen his Minecraft theories so I guess this one may have came out before Minecraft Story Mode which showed us that humans are in fact not extinct. Then again Story Mode also confirmed the multiverse exists and Minecraft RUclipsrs are part of the lore so MatPat might technically be right for his specific world.
Hehehe, this is just the beginning of the Minecraft Lore Videos, things will come more together as you go, i think.

Personally, this is the best long-form theory work Mat has ever... WILL ever do, now, I guess. FNAF may have lauched the channels into major YT history, Minecraft is the magnum opus.

A lot of Minecraft's "hidden" lore wasn't actually intentional, however when MatPat started connecting dots Mojang clearly started running with it.

Honestly my favorite Game Theroy is not the lore but the math ones, so I would say check out Mario or Sonic ones. Or Food Theroy because that's just fun

Me: Unicorns are real. Check out the scientific name for a famous African animal, Rhinocerous Unicornus. The Rhino is the unicorn. I don't know how it got turned into a white horse with a spiral horn coming out its forehead. Horses can't even grow horns. Some goats can do that, though. Maybe Medieval Europeans got the three animals confused. The description of the unicorn in the Bible in the Book of Job is very clear that the animal is a VERY dangerous creature, not a gentle white magic horse that's skittish around most humans except virgin women.

He's done a few halo theories, but they were more science based ones. No lore stuff. Halo's lore is awesome, but to get to the point in the lore where you can really start theorizing for most people requires a level of dedication found only in die hard fans.
