Liverpool fan here. I haven't watched the video but I love this man. He handles himself with such class and dignity. The job at Liverpool was a bit too much too soon - he didn't have the same network as more experienced managers or European ones. But he will do well at Leicester.

However given the issues with the Celtic board not financialy backing his European ambition, he has took us as far as he can with what's available. He left us in great shape & turned okay players into fantastic players & breathed new life into players who maybe thought they were at the arse end of thier career. He made history & broke records with the Celtic team & if he stayed till the end of the season then he would've left with everyone's blessing. He does like a challenge & he will make the Leicester players better, set the team up well & play attractive football. With the transfer money he will have available & with what Brendan brings to the club it's entirely possible Leicester could climb the table & be consistently challenging for honours. I m neutral. And in my mind Celtics supporters are ungrateful. It s not like he leaves a club in shambles. He s been there for 3 years and done everything he could for the club. Waffling a bit like top management, politician style, answers questions that aren't asked.
Can't deny what was done for Celtic in his time, but what has been done was with a high percentage of inherited and academy players, Four titles and numerous cups before he arrived, he was the manager but it was the team who done it.
There is a few he bought for Celtic that don't get a game, and i'm pretty sure Neil Lennon has a much better eye for a player than BR, look at who NL was instrumental in bringing in on NL's first stint..
I've no animosity to him now the winds have calmed and we have our captain and new manager steadying the Celtic ship and guiding us to a treble treble.
One thing i won't miss is "like i say", even though when he hasn't told you anything!
