My favorite folklore character to me would be a more horror based character named La Llorona. The reason is she a said to be once a very Beautiful woman in Mexico long ago that caught the eye of a very wealthy man- where both they get married. But honestly the story of love this tale is not since La Llorona altering having two kids with the husband she loved, found him in the arms of another women. So she took her two kids lives as well as her own, and in her afterlife she roams the Earth as a Spirit looking for her kids. But Beware since if you hear her crys she may think your hers and take you away.
Honestly still like the artwork as always.

i love the gorgon so much! wow makes me want to try drawing one one of these days. I also love how you do your highlights on really shiny objects like the vampire's leather jacket. its not a mythical creature but i have a huge soft spot for the Goddess Persephone from greek mythology and also mermaids...because mermaids.

I really loved both of the drawings, damn I really want alchohol markers now! Even if I got posca markers not that long ago. My favourite mythical/ folklore creature is nøkken! In norwegian folklore it's a swamp/ freshwater creature that lives at the bottom of the lake and drags people down to drown them using the lillypads. My parents told me that story when I was swimming in the freshwater lake in our hometown, probably as a warning to not get my feet tangled up in the lillypad lines or swim out too far. Rather dark but I really love the kittelsen drawings made of nøkken as well!
I have always had a love of Vampires. They are just fascinating. I also love unicorns.
I liked both illustrations, they are neat! You are getting braver with your alcohol markers, using them more for shading, and that is nice to see! Saw that you went over a dark area with a light marker, you can get some really nice, almost watercolor effects by doing that.
I think that the vampire lady ended up being my favorite. You were very bold with the shading of her leather jacket, and I think it really paid off.

@@imawonder still my favourite book series of that time in my life. It’s also why I have a reading rule of always being alone. I remember getting to the big romance scene between Jace and Clary in the last book, and just as I was getting to the steamy part my boyfriend at the time did a giant fart. It ruined the whole vibe.

Among my favorite is the Headless Horsewoman of Irish folklore.
The fact that she's actually a fairy and like a more badass grim reaper is what I love about. Nothing can stop her on the night she comes to collect the soul, locks and bolts open upon her arrival like W O W. And the only thing that can stop her is gold.

I can totally understand your vampire obsession. I loved vampires a lot when I was in middle school and loved a lot of the popular series like The Vampire Diaries and Twilight. I also read a bit of Vampire Knight but I haven’t finished that series yet. I really love how both of these drawings came out especially the gorgon. I really love mermaids. They’re like my all-time favorite mythical being and actually wanted to be a mermaid after watching a particular show that I grew up watching. 😀

Hey! I'm just leaving a little tip here for anyone who also wants to grow a pothos. The only thing you need to make sure of is that they aren't exposed to direct sunlight for more than three to four hours. I have a big one in my garden (I've had it for 5+ years) and it's difficult for me to move it around, so I cover it with a blanket/towel. Of course, you have to water it, but once or twice a day it's more than ok! I tend to water mine twice, once in the morning and once at night :) hope this helps!

Loved both illustrations. I feel so sympathetic towards Medusa, so I do make quite a bit of art about her.
ZZ Plants are really, really hardy. I would recommend one of those for you. I have a fairly green thumb, but I've had some back luck with houseplants lately. So far, my ZZ plant is thriving.
Last comment. I absolutely adore mermaids, fairies and unicorns. But Medusa is in my top ten.

This seems like such a fun prompt, I love how both of them turned out! I should really revisit mythology, especially checking out mythology across cultures because that's always so fun and interesting. Not sure if this counts but I'm such a huge fan of the idea of witches and magical girls, it's just so iconic and fun to think of casting spells and transformations (plus their fashion always hits like hello??) Oh!! And reapers, something about having the job of collecting people's lives is...well dark but still kind of interesting?? haha

These illustrations came out sooo beautifully! I love the print you did on the pants of the vampire and the green hues in the other one are just *chef’s kiss* You actually inspired me to try out Ohuhu markers and they’re so good! I recently got the 120 set and I can’t wait to play with the new colors I got. Ironically markers used to be my least favorite medium. Mostly because of high school days of just seeing them bleed everywhere and seeing a yellow marker get muddy the second it touches any other color on the paper *cringe* lol But I’m so glad you share your process with these because it’s incredibly inspiring!🥰

As a plant lover/hoarder I hate that people recommend succulents as starter plants. They are so challenging to keep alive. Pathos/pothos are the way to go!!

This was a realli inspiring video,I like the idea if working in just one colour,it;s a great way to get better at using colours and using different tones and values in one colour. Both characters look really amazing and I love the Bat wing shoes!!! would soo wear them. I have recently began to use markers myself. So it's really good to haer about how you use them and how they work for you in your amazing artworks.Maybe you should do this for this year's 'Huevember' challenge if you decide to do it.

I have an idea for an art practice! Draw a drawing twice (They can be the same, or two separate drawings) and do one in any colors you'd like, then in the other drawing, use the complete opposite colors.
I love your madusa illustration. I enjoy vampires and shapeshifters, as well as elves and fairies. Dunno that I gravitate to one over the other but the books I read tend to focus around shapeshifters and vampires. Have you created coloring pages from any of your sketches?
I would love to try coloring with my markers using your tips as guidance.

There is a great one shot manga I loooooved by Kaori Yuuki. I think now that it has a big Y2K and gyaru fashion style. It's called Blood Hound if you wanna check it out, It even had a little live action drama series in Japan at one point.
