At age 17 I was a pothead, drinker, selfish, jerk, disrespectful , without hope, suicidal....I went into the bathroom and stared myself in the eyes and asked myself "what are you doing with your life?!....you say you believe in God but nothing you do shows that's the case....you said you'd devote your life to god when you were younger but you havnt!"
At that moment Jesus came to me…he placed his hand on my shoulder and told me who he was and why the father sent him, he forgave me and said I needed to forgive myself, I broke down in tears of happiness, peace and freedom . I gave away everything I owned that day and devoted my life to Jesus. I’ve been following him ever since! I am now 34 , married with 4 kids and 1 on the way! Still praising and following him, I’ve had my ups and downs but I’ll never forget that day he came to me and saved me. I love you Jesus and am so grateful you went out of your way for me a selfish sinner.

POWERFUL, beautiful song! Brought me to tears. I am a 62 year old woman; my son is in prison now for using drugs; no violent crime, but he did steal money, forged checks, etc.; was going on for more than 10 years; I prayed everyday and talked to him about finding God so that he could escape the grips the Devil had on him. He was clean for a year, had a job and an apartment and then relapsed. I talk to him all the time and I can tell he has finally found God; he will be released in 9 months; he is finally now getting rehab in prison and attending Bible studies! I am still praying and thanking sweet Jesus for his forgiveness. I miss my son so much! God Bless you, Nicky - you are truly doing God's work through your music. ❤🙏🙏

Wow, this song hits hard. A very close friend of mine lived this way before she got saved. She still deals with voices in her head causing confusion but she is doing way better than before she came to Christ. Thank you so much for making this song. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! I would recommend going to a pentecostal church, creating that close relationship with Jesus, and asking for strength and deliverance EVERY time you feel weak. These helped me shake my addiction. I will pray for you sister

I knew GOD but did everything to push him away. I mean everything. Through it all God had my back. I should die in jail and I have used up my 9 lives and more. By the Grace of God I have no police record and I am health and happy. I have had such a amazing life change. I asked God to take my life every night for almost 35 yrs. Jesus saved me from addiction, still struggle with cigarettes but I’m thankful for the grace of God
Jesus doesn’t cause you to struggle with sin… He sets you free from it. If you’re still struggling with any part of it, you’re still a slave to it. Jesus set me free 12 years ago from all the evil I was doing and today I’m clean not only from drugs and cigarettes but from all evil behaviour.
So if you want to be free, you can be- Just confess your rebellion and call upon Jesus for salvation:

Oh wow brother. I just found this and I just listened to it 4 times Praise God. I completely relate to every word besides the addiction to opiates although is was alcohol and almost every other drug and I never robbed a dope boy but I was with those who would. Other than those minor differences I hits dead in the center of my heart. I put hands on my woman, being drunk and paranoid but PRAISE GOD when I got outta prison she gave me another chance. We're just recently within the last 4 weeks getting our relationship with God by His Son Jesus Christ. I'm standing up brother and going back ain't an option. I just want you to know, hearing this song made it easier for me to forgive my father. It granted me with the opportunity to see things from his perspective. By the end of this song I realized ANYONE can be saved and that I need to understand who the real enemy is. Unfortunately, due to my dads behavior I can’t be around him, but I do still love him and I pray for him everyday. I hope one day he will come to Jesus just like you did.
