The “gate” opening into the room of the stove is not only where to push in firewood bars to create burning, but also where to receive air for oxygen without it there will be no steady fire to cook.
This opening, though likely wide enough, is still not enough to create perfect combustion. This burning still lacks oxygen because the fire got is still accompanied with much smoke. Not a complete combustion will produce less heat and cause much pollution including much carbon dioxide and other toxic gas.
I mean you should make some more holes around the lower wall of the stove for more air to rush into the burning so you will get the best of your work - cleaner and more beautiful flames from a primitive tool.

#9 is of a too primitive and ugly model.
In general, all your stoves, particularly #9, were designed with so small a base, which supports the whole body weakly and unsteadily, so it may one day cause risks of falling down if you put on it a larger copper pot or bigger frying pan inattentively in a worse-balanced position. Risk of being scalded is ahead. Making the base larger is easy solution.
