I have a WEM Copi-Cat tape delay unit that I bought new in 1982, I also have a 1973 WEM Dominator MKII 100W combo amp, I recently replaced all the capacitors in both as a few were starting to get fat.
You cant beat tube amps and analogue tape delay units, the Dominator is an excellent amp, they were made here in the UK and not many were exported.
Like your Echoplex the Copi-cat is quite a large unit and looked very strange next to the small pedal boards we had in the '80s.

What a fascinating piece of gear. I'm only familiar with the old Danelectro tape echo delay unit. Looks like something the guy that lives in Nerdville would want 😂 you know who I mean.
