Thanks for the review! I have an older version which runs android 5.1 and has only 1gb of ram. This new models are 12 inch instead of 10 and has 2gb ram. I think apps work better with this 1gb extra ram, so I think its worth upgrading also for the android version. I could not find any firmware update to upgrade a previous model from 5.1 android to 8.1. I have 1 question for you, I like the triple screen optic, so you can use navigation and also control the music with a single touch. Is it possible to pause/play/next/previous control music from spotify/amazon music and others? Or does the music control on the left side ONLY controls the „music app“? Also is it still possible to use a different navigation app and change the launcher by long pressing the large icon? In my previous version I could change the navigation app to launch (I use sygic app).

Also it switches off when I start the engine as cigarette charger loose the power for a second when I start the car...

I will be using it attached on top the regular mirror in my car (Toyota CHR) without the rear camera since I already have the original rear camera of my car. I see that on the left side of the Junsun dvr there is the front camera sticking out a lot, so I will adjust that on the left of my regular mirror, but I have also noticed that on the right side - on the back - there is a bulgy speaker which I'm afraid will press against the glass of my regular car mirror, possibly doing some damage. Could you please shed some light on this? Will the Junsun dvr speaker on the back right side damage my original CHR mirror? Thank you a thousand times!

I have a really LONG question and I'm really confused, I just bought this on Amazon this exact one and there are two different brands but they look exactly identical, this one is by ekleva. My question is I don't want to use the hard wire as I would prefer to use the cigarette lighter, the only downside is I won't be able to use the 24-hour parking guard and I do believe I can use the cigarette lighter because it has the slot on the device, why it's not a micro USB for a 2020 model I don't understand, I'm surprised they still kept the same mini USB, my question to the conclusion is can I use a cigarette lighter if I can find one that has that same USB mini, I do believe it would work?
Yes, you can but definitely not advisable. This device needs a constant power. What happened when you use cigarette lighter is that every time you turn off your ignition, the device will shut down completely. And when you turn on the engine, the device will reboot again. It is like turning off and turning on your android phone. Imagine how long will it take to reboot a phone. Hardwiring is keeping your device in a sleep mode not shutting down
First, open you car fm radio then set to any frequency that is not being used or no signal. Then go to your device, open the fm radio and set the frequency exactly the same with your car fm radio, then click SAVE below. You’re all good.

Tap the acc wire to front or rear wiper fuse. Then, tap the constant power wire (in my device it is the yellow wire) to hazard light fuse. Lastly, tap the ground wire ( black wire) to any metal in your that has no paint Tip: use a add-a-circuit for easier and safer hardwiring
I plan to buy this thing. Does it work if I don't connect to the rear camera? Don't care about the rear camera since my car already has 360 camera and ADAS. will it throw any error, message that camera not found, or something like that? My plan is to use this as a 2nd screen for navigation since you can install google maps and Waze. Да батарея есть, но чисто от батарее не работает, не хватает мощности батареи, она для дежурного режима, для встроенных часов, даты и т. п. Для системных дополнительных настроек нужно включить "режим разработчика" и там чуть донастроить. Для его включения надо в настройках системы семь раз ( или около того) тапнуть по версии андроида или по номеру сборки, не помню, начните и система подскажет, только помните что включаете или отключаете чтобы можно было вернуть настройки на место если что то не понравится или пойдёт не так. На то этот режим и спрятан.
Ive had mine for a couple months, i cannot get it past the boot screen. Sometimes it will load to the home screen, then shuts off. Ive tried running it from wored in the car and AC adapter in the wall. No luck. Any suggestions? I cannot reach the company anymore. But i know i have the same exact model.

Sure, the yellow go to battery and red to ignition, so the camera will be on standby and start with the car.

I have this but can't get the date to correct. Says Friday 3-13-2021 but it's Friday 3-12-2021. The date on the dashcam part is correct though. Odd
