I said it in one of the first videos about purchasing the course that this feels like the start of a sort of Cleetus McFarland golf channel. I massively support keeping everything on one channel
Keep this series on the main channel, please. I love hearing Wesley talk through his philosophy on redesigning the golf course! It's going to be amazing!
I’ve said it once I will say it again we need to see George/Perez VS Wesley/Cold Cuts and Bob. Very excited to see the development of your course in the meantime!
@@danmyers9372 I understand where you are coming from, but I feel Bob does sports following would love the Bryson bros. Their personalities with the highest caliber golf has me hooked and I’m sure other Bob fans would subscribe to Bryson Bros as well.
100% on the same channel. No question. Thank you for sharing your experiences, thoughts, ideas, vision with us. I am honored to be a part of this journey!
Agree, main channel please. Also watched vid till end. G3 star of vlog. That man loves his golf. Quick observation, courses with par 3 on second hole always back up. And courses with a softer #1 hole tend to keep things moving faster. With pace of play always being #1 priority, might consider softer #1.
One key aspect of any course design, IMO, is to make it playable by all levels...tee boxes setup accordingly. Some courses have too many long carries off the tee, and they don't fit well for mid to high handicappers. It all depends on who you are really targeting...it's your course. I love the idea of the tight run-off areas around the green; you are totally right - it allows more types of shots to be made. The retention wall is a GREAT idea; it would visually look great and define the green complex nicely.
Keep all your content on the one channel. Love the idea of seeing your golfing exploits interspersed with your course journey as well. Love the false front and extended greens, always good to have competition positions and friendly general play options.
This course is going to be awesome. It's dope how you're building a course that is creator focused! Looking forward to hopefully playing it one day! We're loving it.
Your own golf course and a design project... Not jealous at all! Keep it on the main channel, I'm going to be loving this journey and am excited to see it all develop over time. 👍🏻
I'm so excited for this project and what it means for RUclips golfers. I used to be a PGA member, worked at a couple private clubs, but left because of the rigidness of it all. Ya'll are going to make golf fun AND cool.
So happy to see a team that cares take over and revive the former Indian River. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for the approach on 16 and the signature 17th. 17 always felt like a respite after the back to back par 5’s.
My brother in law worked on golf courses since college at Oklahoma State. He said your ideas and projects sound and look amazing. As a dude that just loves golf, I agree. South Carolina isn’t too close to Oklahoma but I’ll gladly make the trip
Love your vision for the front nine and for GIII, what an asset he will be with his knowledge and down home personality! I truly dug this video and you must keep everything on only one channel, Bryan Bros. with Pops featured in his capacity. Blessings to all of you from Richard in Cosby, east Tennessee. POSITIVE VIBRATIONS MOVING FORWARD!
i love wesley's attitude. his thought process is... "i'm making a course that i'm going to be playing all the time.. lets make it as HARD AS POSSIBLE with what we have to work with."
Indian River was the first golf course I ever played a round at when I was 5 years old. Really excited to see y’all revitalize it and give the Midlands a top-notch golf course.
Keep it on the same channel. I think y’alls vision for this course is amazing! I feel like this could truly be something special and if the length is there could 100 percent become a ranked course with a big time future!
Lovin' this series, as a student of gc architecture, I love to see the journey of players creating a gc. Very cool👍. The only thing I would suggest is, don't make it so hard that us normal people can't navigate the course. It'd be interesting to see the original design/ blueprints.
Played this course several times in my high school golf career. It felt like the back 9 was an afterthought. I am so excited to see what y’all have in store!
Love that you guys are influenced by Pinehurst! No. 4 is my all time favorite GC. With that said, please follow their example, and make all your sandy areas “waste areas” where you can ground your club. To me, that’s part of the secret sauce at Pinehurst. Being able to take a practice swing and feel the club/sand interaction has lead me to change clubs 10+ times and is a massive add to the round. My 2 cents based on their 2 cents…. What are y’all’s thoughts on that? Just curious. (Also, designing your own course looks like the most fun thing ever. Living vicariously through you at the moment!)
This is the best idea on youtube golf right now. I took a hiatus from golf for the past year, but i have come back to see this awesome project you guys got going on. Im excited to see the content and the final product. Lets go!!

I appreciate you all taking us on your visionary journey of your new golf course. I don't think you need to create an alternate channel just keep it on the main channel so everyone that watches will still know where to find it. I'm excited to see the finale and G3 was cracking me up.
One of my favorite vids on the channel (and I've watched them all for 2-3 years now). Really cool to hear the thought process. This course is going to be amazing.
I agree with keeping golf course content on main channel. Also like when you highlight areas from the drone where projected changes will be. Gives a visual for where you are going with design. I so enjoy hearing the thought process behind why you are doing something on the hole.
Keep it on the main channel. If it’s called the Bryan Bros Golf for a reason. It’s all about your golf experiences to include the new golf course. It’s now part of your lives.m, and when done will be part of our lives as well. Go get them boys.
This is awesome! FYI, if you are planning to plant trees for design purposes or to block unavoidable eye sores, use those saplings that are growing in the Par 3. Most tree companies can uproot them for you for the purpose of planting elsewhere. Since they are already growing natively its an easy transition for the health of the tree. Additionally you already have a head start on its growth as opposed to planting new trees. The maturation of the tree will take years, but you can save a few years this way. Also saves $$$. Only saying this because its not something people think about but I've got experience in this area. Anyways, cant wait to see how this turns out!
I always knew in my heart Bryan Bros were the cream, they just took a while to rise to the top! Loving this content gents!! Keep it on this channel! Wesley knows whats up, and really sounds like a natural with this course design stuff.

As someone who grew up both obsessed w golf and kinda poor/without any who ya know access to the nice private courses in my area and who used to sneak on to almost all of the private courses in my area, I can tell you that I would've gone crazy to find an abandoned course that was still in good enough shape for me to play/practice.
