"Relive the iconic moments": You forgot to make 3/4 of the video dying repeatedly on the water hallway in Maze of Death. Nice work with the video, though. I got a particularly big kick out of the VHS-style opening.
The Air Capsule Mk. 1 _was_ great on it's own, but it was also a masterful brick joke on your part. And you wouldn't want the punchline getting spoiled in the trailer, would you? It's likely the same reason why one of my favourite iconic moments (the heart attack at the end of Spiky Meltdown) isn't in the trailer either.
I had a feeling the fortress stuff wouldn't be programmed in yet, but jokes > common sense Also, to be fair, the brick joke aspect of the Air Capsule wasn't my idea. Originally the boss was just presented without context, it was Pyro who added the hub dialogue and the "i lied".
YEAH! Now I can play MaGMML1 without playing the original MaGMML1. This is the best excuse to play MaGMML1 (if you know what I mean) -Everything looks so good! -YES! There's a Bass costume in addition to the Proto Man costume! -The HECK is that Doc Robot thing (perhaps it's meant to replace Jolt Man?)? -Episode ZERO!?
@@DeskoDev Yeah. I'm using some VSTs to try and make a sort of DOS FM-styled cover (either OPL2 or OPL3 mode, no more than 18 voices+percussion). Maybe if/when I get it done, see what I can do with it on my Roland MT-32.
>iconic moments City War isn't in the trailer though. =p All jokes aside, I wouldn't mind playing this remake over the original, since it'll be more stable. Also, I heard that Justice Man will be replaced. Why is that? Does it have something to do with the upcoming Rock Force update?
The original engine was bad and Pyro always wanted to remake the game but couldn't find an excuse to, until she wanted to make MaGMML: Episode Zero, and decided "hey if I'm gonna make Episode Zero I might as well remake the first game along with it", so she brought in a few people who offered to help (myself included) and we started working, and right now we felt like it was the perfect moment to make a trailer for it since it's both MaGMML1's anniversary and we felt the game was in a good enough position to show it.
Knowing all the bugs it had I'm super happy that it's getting the remaster love. So Jolt Man, I take it he's gone since his creator wanted no part of MAGMML2? Who will be his replacement if that's the case?
I can't tell you based on any empirical evidence or anything, but I remember that logo playing at the end of Pingu VHS tapes. It used to freak me out, but I still have fond memories of those times. It's an old logo, I want to say mid- to late-90s, perhaps?
Um...huh. Okay. Interesting, I think? The presentation, at least, was neat - loved that VHS-thing going on at the beginning, and of course 8-bit Take On Me still sounds surprisingly good and polished.
Wish there was a release date. I haven't LPed the original one on my channel yet, but was planning on it soon, but now seeing this I may just want to wait...

M. Shnouk it's in the game, that's why
Eeyup, with parts of a couple songs from the Famicom game "Gimmick!" in the start and end.
@@NightSprinter And with some of the "instruments" used

Everything about this is YES! Definitely playing this as soon as it comes out!
hey that thing is Scooby Doc's thing >:(((
*hopes they included updated versions of the original versions of the revamped bosses*
Oh Roahmythrill...
The Quickening Part III:
The Revenge
I dunno, would it really be worth the replaying?
I'd be down for some updates on features and some reactions to them, tho. :3
I've always wanted to go back to MaGMML1 with a superior engine. I'll be looking forward to this, and the interquel.
Ive yet to play the first one but ive been playing the hell out of the second one and its been alot of fun im looking forward to seeing this release
This trailer made me more hyped than Megaman 11.
Damned CRTs...
1:27 HAHA That Doc Robot!

1:05 I would still order that from Wendy's
I kinda like that intro, shame it does not have a full version
TAAAAAAKE OOOOOON MEEEEEEE!!!
still waiting to play this master piece
Huh...interesting. What prompted this?
magmml1 sucks so we are going to make it not suck
also i wanted an excuse to do episode zero lol

So Jolt Man, I take it he's gone since his creator wanted no part of MAGMML2? Who will be his replacement if that's the case?
he's gone, his replacement is in the video
Took me a minute to figure out who replaced Jolt Man. That was definitely a worthy replacement, I approve.
Anyone care to explain why the BBC logo is at the end? (Yes, I could see Davwin there. I just need to know why the BBC logo, exactly?)
AetherTail Episode Zero foreshadowing maybe?
Dawvin/ACE is British, and BBC is a British network. (not sure why it was referenced tho)

BBC, broke my knee, turtle pee.
nice

I'm glad that Magmml1 is getting remastered hopefully it wont be so bare bones ;-;
Christ, you're good at editing! I would never figure out how to make a VHS effect!
I'm still with questions... Rush Jet is not awful anymore?
Sounds interesting and cool. A big Thumbs up to all the effort!
I really enjoyed the second game, i'll play this remastered first game when it's released.
Wish there was a release date. I haven't LPed the original one on my channel yet, but was planning on it soon, but now seeing this I may just want to wait...
I liked this video just because 8 bit Take On Me.
I might have to dust off my recording software and LP this when it comes out.
That's interesting that they are making a Newer magmml 1 with the magmml 2 engine
Insert "it's about DAMN time" here
This is the best kind of news
Goodness, that old BBC logo takes me back to when I was a kid. Used to go round to a friend's house and watch Pingu on VHS. Good times.
Hostius Hostilius NOOT NOOT!
Wow, the old BBC logo.
Should I see this as nostalgia, non sequitur, or another inside joke?
Procrastinating The answer is "yes".
neat
*Episode Zero*
Be afraid folks...
We can finally connect the x series
