Have you made a follow up video to this? ive currently found a empty property and the owner is deceased, with no forwarding relatives. i would like some further advice. thanks.
I have watched quite a few videos about investing in property but your videos have caught my attention simply because the information you give is so down to earth, realistic and achievable. 👍
FYI, there is NO "trespassing" in Scotland. Go pretty much where you like, and YES, even on private land. That's the reason Madonna sold her house in Scotland because she could not prevent people wandering over her land.
So happy I've stumbled acr this. There is a property near me I have ALWAYS wanted. It seems abandoned (overgrown garden, damaged old windows, doors etc) but there is nothing on Google. It's in a area where all properties are lived in but this one (and the surrounding properties go for around half a million) it's so bizarre but clear no one lives in it.
@@patiencedicks2559 we went round & had nosy around. A lovely lady who stayed next to it told us that a man does own it and he comes back & forth. He has a partner who stays further north who he stays with most of the time. So gutting it sits empty and neglected like that in such an expensive rare street. I’m hoping he ends up moving up there 🤣. We put a letter through the door with our details, politely explaining how we loved the place and if ever they were interested in selling, we would love to buy. Further update, we acquired land to open our dog run/park!!!🙂 It may not be residential land yet…. But it’s a start 😊
Tony fantastic video, very interesting. We all walk past so many opportunities that could make us so much money yet unless you investigate you will never know. Great content.
in my part of the world there are many derelict properties, I discovered yet another last week, doors and windows open, no gate. Obviously not lived in for 10 years+. No neighbors.

Hey, big fan of the channel and trying to gain a bit more understanding. On the land registry I have found a property that is officially derelcit and unused at the end of my street, it says that the ownership is unknown on the land registry, hence why it has recently been put up on the land register as derelict. What is my next step in order to claim it or buy it? Frustrated as I cant seem to get any answers and I may be asking the wrong questions? thanks for help CEC
Hi I know where a abandoned property is and I would like to take adverse possession of it. Do you know someone who can help or someone who has done this before. I need to get it perfect because 10-12 years is a long time to get to the end and find you’ve made a mistake .
I know several people who "say" they have done it......... but I guess only time will tell if they manage to secured the property in 12 years time! My suggestion would be to read all you can on the subject and then consult a "property savvy," solicitor. I wish you every success with it 😊
Hi Tony, could you please offer some advice. The opportunity to purchase a building containing 2 ground floor shops, with 2 - 2 bed flats above. The owner is a motivated seller and wants out! Some renovation needs carried out in 1 of the flats. Would you advise a commercial loan / mortgage or have a better idea i.e lease option / rent 2 rent etc. Sub question, with a business loan would you prefer to pay interest only or capital + interest and what is the recommended mortgage length for a commercial investment. Many thanks in advance!
To be honest, there's a lot to consider here - it might be better to book a coaching call for this one if it's a deal you're going to do. If that's of interest and me an email and I'll send you the link. Tony@yourfirstfourhouses.com
Great info and video!! What happens if you spend a few grand on the property then get to year 9 and somebody comes forward with their deeds and wants their house?
I found a property, I've sought assistance to find out more about the property, the local council don't respond to letters, they don't answer the phone, the neighbors have no idea who owns the property as they moved in long after the property was abandoned, , I've given up chasing it six years ago, it's still empty and has been for around 20 years, the address of the owner is the same as the address.
Hi Andrew, thank you for your message, but I’m not sure how I can help you? If you’ve “given up” trying to find the owner, by all means email over the address (don’t post it on here!) and I’ll try to buy it and will give you a finders fee if I do 😊 But of course if you’re still pushing ahead, that’s awesome, and I wish you every success with it 😊
When you see properties like that just left do you get curious and you wanna know who owns it I’m like that if I go past the building has been left for so many years and it’s like a car what could you do that house you could make that into a beautiful family house or a place where you could help people live as I’ve got nowhere else to go if I had the money I will do it up completely of me and my family
Hello, I’ve seen a home in my local area, I’ve downloaded the title deeds and spent the £6 I’ve got the ladies name, I’ve had a look to try and find her, I can’t, I believe she may have passed away and I now don’t know what to do, I’ve been to the property at different times of day and it is defiantly abandoned/unused, have you got any further ideas?
What do you do if you know of a property and the owner has died 10 years ago and there’s no next of kin? Can I move straight in, I believe the original deeds are in the house. X
Hi Tony, you've popped up on my feed before but only recently did I type into RUclips 'how to buy an empty house' and there was this video. I've got my eyes on two at the moment. Also, how did you get on, is there an update to this video? Thanks,
