That transitioning from summer moisture and heat to autumn's low light, is reflected in the pedestrian, where in one frame a guy in shorts can be seen passing another in down jacket and scarf (05:18). I like this time of year. It is also reflected in the jovial mood of the fellow pedestrians. I think more people warmed up to the camera and waved in this clip, then in the last 10 clips put together. Nice walk, 105.
Shannon Gaddy This was wonderful! I was born and grew up, the first ten years of my life (1951-1961) on the upper west side. You past my neighborhood, west 109th street. Went to the Ascention catholic grammar school on west 108th Played at Riverside park. It still is a great looking place. You ended right in front of Columbia U- my aunt used to work at Barnard, across from it in the mid to late 1950s. Had lunch many times in student cafeteria. Wow! Thanx so much for this! You’re great! :)
Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I used to live at 2728 Broadway and haven't seen the old block in years. I think Columbia had bought the building in the early 80's.
Very nice video! Very modern section with the Metropolitan tower section and I'm so glad to see that hipster athleisure fashion is starting to diminish! The fashion is starting to look a lot better in general than 2017. I'm glad to see that the Hero 7 is performing wonderfully with long length 4k60p videos!
Video on bus stop shelters! This is something I've thought of often for subways but put news on them and keep advertising. I'm in Arizona and don't know if that's already being done but it sure seems like trying to keep people 'in the mix' (current events) is how you keep domestic tranquility and "solvency". Do they do Wi-Fi also for underground cell phones already?
@9:04 Raccoon Distemper Advisory - Just what every New Yorker needs. You drag yourself through a completely craptastic day, only to have a rabid animal attach itself to your face lol
Funny to see complete opposites of the spectrum when people are on the video, either hiding their face like they don' t want to be seen and then the ones who pose like a photoshoot

Looking straight down the block I live on. 29:54 And I thank the gods every day that I do. Most amazing city on earth.

Yes, the HERO7 is performing marvelously here. I’m amazed just at the construction noises at the beginning. Autumn is my favorite season.
Just moved from ny to California, i have grown up there and know that whole walk
nice as usually!!

"actionkid105" awesome video.Evening New York will be on Christmas?
Zabars! My go to for breakfast when I visit. Any recommendations of reasonably priced place to stay down there?
Awesome! I’m not too familiar with lodging, but you can always check out a few websites!
@@ActionKid The websites show what every place wants their room to look like but not what it looks like in reality when you get there LOL
Thank you actionkid105.
thx!!
Русский чайный дом. Где бы я на него еще посмотрела. Классный проход с 56 на 57 улицу через метрополитен башню ))) В гугл картах тоже пройти можно
Thanks; this is the part of NYC that tourists don't know and it has fine architecture, etc shhh!

Yup, have to beware of those raccoons!
No commentary?
L'etoille streets make for a more liveable city where landlords cannot command ALL space. They exist in quite a few of the larger cities.
So many people -- so little litter!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Carnal knowledge ending up in a clearing. Dueling doll towns . . . the Lincolns & Carnegies.
wow so sharp; pierce my eyes lol
Bald Guy walking behind his wife with red shirt, dark vest, gave you the finger at 40:40 while passing in front of you..
Yup, that’s New York for you 😉
40:38 - son of a bitch !
