Thought I'd go back and learn myself on how to be a proper youtube fisherman by watching some old EPF.. Still excited for every new episode... Even if it's the old ones, you're just somebody I can't watch enough of. Thank you EPF.
Awesome and informative video once again...it was as if you were reading my mind answering all the questions before I could ask 👍🏻👍🏻....and yes to the idea of the Chatterbait video..all the best Professor
I grew up fishing those lakes throughout my whole childhood and took my kids fishing there too... There ARE catfish and carp in there.... Used to be some decent sized carp up to 23" that I've caught... Chicken liver, nightcrawler, corn, and even Velveeta cheese would catch you some decent sized fish from the bottom
Love your channel! I find your videos very entertaining and educational. I just got back into fishing this year so ive been doing a lot of catchup on the sport and i find youtube to be a great resource. Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks for sharing such a great channel with everyone and keep up the good work. BTW, really digging the zman chatterbait. I dont have one of those, so i think i may order one up and try it out this weekend. Do they have those in pink....LOL?
When I have weird people come talk to me when I fish. I stop what I'm doing and look them straight in the eyes and say nothing until it gets awkward for both of us or until he leaves.
I won't be uploading for a few days, so I thought it would be nice to bring you guys a longer vid, Jason Near. Haha. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
hey Leo great stuff as usual. I'd definitely be interested in you diving into the chatterbait as I'd like to get better at using it. thanks Leo and tight lines brother.
I just wanted to commend you sir, for not even one Flair reference this entire video, It must have been tough. Love your take on fishing from shore, keep up the good work.
if you take recommendations im right in south jersey. a place called floodgates its past bridgeport speedway. i catch catfish bass crappie sunnys bowfin and all. theres quite a bit in that spot. hope you see this and decide to check it out
I can't give a positive ID on the species of spider you saw, but it is definitely in the genus Argiope, probably Argiope aurantia, or yellow garden spider. They are not venomous to humans, but I can say from experience that the bite is pretty painful. They also tend to be a pretty aggressive species, so it's best to admire them from a safe distance. But don't worry, she won't leave her web, as that's where she is most safe. They are comparitively clumsy outside of the web, but extremely fast and agile within it. Tight lines!
Hey man, nice vid as usual! That chatterbait was giving you mad problems though! Put a stinger hook on that bad boy bro!! Keep up the great work...tight lines!!
Hey extremephillyfishing I'm not no expert AT ALL. But I though I may throw a couple things out that may help you out in the long run. With the water Colors. One thing I do know is you wanna match the water color. With the dark muddy water you want to use a darker bait. Wth the clear waters use light color baits or even clear baits. And I'm amazed on how those dark cold bass are in there. The only thing I can think is that they just recently stocked the pond. Maybe. And the only thing I can think is you catching them on white shartruse or pink color baits is that there is Shad or shiner minnows in there. Thanks for reading if you did bud. Ps. That spider is a banana spider. Keep on making great videos bud!
The dark fish is the most dominant fish in the area. In fish tanks with the most romantic fish will display the darkest colors. Fish can change their color depth very quickly. People who keep South American chilids will know what I'm talking about.
I caught a 5lb largemouth bass in the first part of Kennedy Park on a red and black spinner with gold blades and a dark rubber worm on a trailer hook the end
I personally like the Chatterbait a lot, I Am Ratman18. I also like the Rapala X-Rap, The Savage Gear Swimming fish, etc. As for SC, one of these days. Not so sure when, though. Hehe. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
What?!? You are casting a Zman Chatter with no Trailer Hook probably why the hook up ratio wasn't so good you should try it sometime, but awesome video catching some big donkeys keep it up!
When you fish ponds that have a lot of juvenile bass in it you have to start removing some of them because there will not be enough food sources to allow them to properly eat and grow to full potential
hey leo what spinning rod and reel would you suggest getting for about $100- $120? What baitcating rod and reel would you suggest getting for $100-$120? I need to know because I'm joining our anglers club and i think i should do an upgrade. p.s. your my favorite youtuber. btw I live in north Alabama so I fish in places like Lake Guntersville, Wheeler Lake, Wilson Lake, Smith Lake, etc...
My dad was a woodsman, and I grew up eating fish that size, my favorite food. These would go into a hot skillet, not back in the pond. I miss my dad, and these little'fryers'!
Nice vid dude will you do a meet up sometime besides the philly fun fishing fest I catch carp and small mouth in Tyler state park also some great rock bass sometimes
Glad that you enjoyed the video, Connor Dillon. I will be at the Philly Fun Fishing Fest, but besides that, I don't know if I will do any meet-ups. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
That is definitely a good suggestion, Gerard Papa. I always used trailer hooks on my spinners, but never on a Chatterbait. Will give it a try. Thanks for sharing! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I just use my hands, Olin Kennedy. Nothing fancy like the Googan Squad. One GoPro Hero 4 Silver with a Chesty Mount. That is all I need for my filming. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
That's strange that there really is no structure at this lake. I see you were using the chartreuse color. Is there a specific reason you chose that color?
Personally, I tend to use chartreuse in stained/muddy water and/or places where Bass feed on Sunfish. I had a Black/Blue and a White/Chartreuse, so I decided to go with the second one. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Hey Bro I don't no if u remember but we bum in at fdr i was walking with some nice crappie back then.A good hit if u want good fishing right now u should try honey brook PA . all & all I been watching channel words up And good fishing holla back if u want to hit honey brook.happy fishing

You should make T-shirts...."Tek it easy....fish!"
Jack .Stravinsky yaaaaaas
Jack .Stravinsky or something like.. “DAYUUUM SON”
Thought I'd go back and learn myself on how to be a proper youtube fisherman by watching some old EPF.. Still excited for every new episode... Even if it's the old ones, you're just somebody I can't watch enough of. Thank you EPF.
The frog had to fear the wrath of the Asian at 11:59 just kidding lol. great video Leo.
Great video, Leo! Really enjoy watching your content.
extreme philly fishing just gave me sex advice "you see a hole out there dont be afraid to give it a try" lol
lol
😂😂😂😂 I don't know what you are talking about, Atheox. I was clearly talking about fishing. 😂😂😂 Tight lines and thanks for watching!
+Extreme Philly Fishing the only thing that'll be tighter than our lines is one of them holes hes talkin about
Leo- "Sometimes the hole is your best friend."
Daaayyum Son! LOL. you crack me up with that. (+ I didnt want to comment on the hole)...
Hahaha. Always glad to entertain, DragOn FishOn. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Thank you for uploading a video I love watching!!!!!!😍😍
Awesome and informative video once again...it was as if you were reading my mind answering all the questions before I could ask 👍🏻👍🏻....and yes to the idea of the Chatterbait video..all the best Professor
"we are putting to much in the hole"😂😂
Nice Leo! I grew up not too far from there. Used to catch nice catfish in there. But it got weedy and slimy, and the Canadian geese too over.
Best video yet, Leo! There was so much funny stuff in there. Are you sure you aren't a comedian?
Best EPF intro ever. Hands Down💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Gratz on this vid Leo. Seems to be racking up some views. I notices a significant bump in subscribers as well. Grats man.

Hey Leo!! Loved the video. Very amusing. Yes , please do a video with the chatter bait. I love to bream fish, I must try a few holes. Ha. 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Wow Leo I think you just invented a new type of fishing hole fishing :)
Hole fishing is definitely a lot of fun, joe! Haha Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I wish I was Asian then I would be really good at fishing
Yea me too
Well at least you caught some reasonable fish towards the end of the trip. Great work out there. Keep it rolling.
Thank you very much, Intrepid Fisherman! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Hey i'm a biologist and i'd like to inform you that was a wheelweb spider, pretty harmless just dangerouslooking
are you now?
kenneth barragan i am, at least in college for it :p (i have those in my backyard so i know they don't do shit :p)
+kenneth barragath its easy to become a biologist because not everyone drops out of school and is unsuccesful like you
When I have weird people come talk to me when I fish. I stop what I'm doing and look them straight in the eyes and say nothing until it gets awkward for both of us or until he leaves.
Wow Leo 30 min video definitely makes up for less uploads
I won't be uploading for a few days, so I thought it would be nice to bring you guys a longer vid, Jason Near. Haha. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Thought there would've been catfish there, lucked mucky enough. Tight lines and good fishing.
I went fishing last weekend and said "fish on" everytime I hooked up. Great videos
Burlington got some nice spots ^^ good exploration
hey Leo great stuff as usual. I'd definitely be interested in you diving into the chatterbait as I'd like to get better at using it. thanks Leo and tight lines brother.
Hey Leo ,you should try this creek located in Ridley park pa ,it's on Chester pike next to Taylor hospital.
Try switching up presentations to land a larger bass. Maybe something larger than your pink senko you usually use. Great video!
I just wanted to commend you sir, for not even one Flair reference this entire video, It must have been tough. Love your take on fishing from shore, keep up the good work.
You should come to the Manasquan reservoir in Howell, NJ (Monmouth county)
That is definitely a place that I want to hit in the future, Jack Osterweil! I appreciate the suggestion! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
awesome video you should definitely make a video on how many pounds of fish you could catch on the zman chatterbait tight lines!
I love your videos Leo, you are hilarious and make my day keep it up!!!
Back at it again with the great videos
Thank you very much, Russian Uncle Cowboy Grandpa. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
if you take recommendations im right in south jersey. a place called floodgates its past bridgeport speedway. i catch catfish bass crappie sunnys bowfin and all. theres quite a bit in that spot. hope you see this and decide to check it out
That spider is harmless. It will bite if aggravated but it's not poisonous. They sit on their web and form an X. I see them in my garden all the time.

Thanks for sharing, JacobInTheLunchroom! I appreciate it. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Yes, please make zmans lb challenge video. Tight lines Leo!
the spider you saw is commonly called a garden spider or banana spider where I'm from. completely harmless even if you do mess with it.
Hey man, nice vid as usual! That chatterbait was giving you mad problems though! Put a stinger hook on that bad boy bro!! Keep up the great work...tight lines!!

generally, small bass, larger bluegill means under harvest on bass. If u eat fish, keep the smaller bass within the keeper size to improve the lake.
That is the general idea of selective harvest, Andrew Spinks. Thanks for sharing! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Nice to see you catching! More fish and less face is what we like :)
keep up the good work man, most entertaining fishing channel on youtube
Thank you very much for your kind comment, petar kunic. Tight lines and thanks for watching!

Hey Leo have you ever thought about using a baitcaster?
I thought about it, Thomas Maye. But for now, I will be sticking with spinning gear. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
it's like impossible to throw 1/64oz and 1/32 jigs with a baitcaster. Maybe if you spend stupid money on a daiwa pixy type r
I have not used the Zman chatterbait. How do retrieve it?
btw, holes are my best friends too.... all the time ;)
Good job Leo. What is your favorite moving bait. Will u ever come to SC? I'd love to show you around...
I personally like the Chatterbait a lot, I Am Ratman18. I also like the Rapala X-Rap, The Savage Gear Swimming fish, etc. As for SC, one of these days. Not so sure when, though. Hehe. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Np. Thanks man!
leo what do u think is better for catching panfish nightcrawlers or the gulp minnow
Was pretty cool, watching your visit there :)
Your the man leo keep on posting videos they are always interesting
Leo, are you still using the collapsible rod you showed a few videos back?
that yellow black and white spider it the Yellow Garden Spider it's just a baby right there. they can get x10 that size here in Indiana
Ice fishing in the summer! wow lmao
That place was quite unique, Adam Buzzo. Lol. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
What?!? You are casting a Zman Chatter with no Trailer Hook probably why the hook up ratio wasn't so good you should try it sometime, but awesome video catching some big donkeys keep it up!
that spider was a Yellow Garden Spider. They have venom but nothing major and they aren't aggressive.
What is the correct spelling or link for the guy you were saying has the brutal hookset?
Hey Leo is it okay to eat bass? and if so how do you prefer to cook them?
How do you rig your senko to where it will slide up the line when you have a fish on?
At 5:50 - Leo, you should of went over in the yard and dug up some worms ! The "God Dam Son" line got me laughing !!! . About pissed my pants... :-)
Always glad to entertain, Glenn! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Hey Leo when do you think you are going to fish the scoo goo river again???
When you fish ponds that have a lot of juvenile bass in it you have to start removing some of them because there will not be enough food sources to allow them to properly eat and grow to full potential
What's that lake called where you caught the biggest fish
hey leo what spinning rod and reel would you suggest getting for about $100- $120? What baitcating rod and reel would you suggest getting for $100-$120? I need to know because I'm joining our anglers club and i think i should do an upgrade. p.s. your my favorite youtuber. btw I live in north Alabama so I fish in places like Lake Guntersville, Wheeler Lake, Wilson Lake, Smith Lake, etc...
The Gong Lei Hookset never fails LOL
One who masters the Gong Lei hookset masters the art of landing fish. LOL. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Great video. Catfish & Carp are good size there also.
you know I usually fish that second pond for carp, I never thought about going for the bass
Hey leo
what test line do you use in what brand do u use catch fish
My dad was a woodsman, and I grew up eating fish that size, my favorite food. These would go into a hot skillet, not back in the pond. I miss my dad, and these little'fryers'!
The spider is a golden argiope. They don't have poison at all but they're the only one that can kill wasps
load up a tent and your gear and head to trough creek at raystown in huntingdon county. check it out on the web.
Tight lines and thanks for watching!
looks like those bass were short-striking your lure. maybe add a trailer hook and a tip it with a curly tail soft plastic?
That is definitely a good suggestion, Gerard Papa. I always used trailer hooks on my spinners, but never on a Chatterbait. Will give it a try. Thanks for sharing! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Leo what do you use for filming? A GoPro with a chest mount and do you use a small tripod to hold it or do you just use your hand?
I just use my hands, Olin Kennedy. Nothing fancy like the Googan Squad. One GoPro Hero 4 Silver with a Chesty Mount. That is all I need for my filming. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Oh. My. God. That intro had me DYING, a weird ass spider was the best 😂
same
Haha. Always glad to entertain, GetGronked87! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
+Extreme Philly Fishing that was a banana spider very poisonous
lol the frog ran away because "asian people eat frog legs too" im dying 😂😂😂😂
you should come to kentucky and go to lock port bad ass big catfish and I caught a 8 1/2 pound bass
In several locations along many divided highways here in Louisiana, (the median) yep, you guessed it...graveyards.
If you want to catch fish in Burlington, go to where the Rancocus empties into the Delaware, not public lakes.
"So weird ass spider" 😂 I'm dying 😂
summer ice fishing warming up for the winter
I always think he says “goat minnow”
Cracks me up every time.
If you fish Jersey more, come to the Assumpink Main Lake!
filming and fishing is hard!😐 my memory ran out 3 times.
Awesome! Any tips on starting my own channel?
Thank you, Treyton Johnson. My recommendation is: be charismatic; have a consistent release schedule. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Leo, i understand that is a lower end reel. How does it perform?
It performs well, Trevor marple. I mean...for $10, the Daiwa Samurai does enough. Hehe. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
dude I need help catching fish after seeing your videos lol... keep the Good stuff coming . thumps up
Hey extreme filly fishing can u come up to Vermont and I can bring u to a secret spot of mine
Early in the video I was telling you to please switch out the senko for something noisy or flashy in that stained water lok
Right on, Tim Cee. The Chatterbait was definitely a good move! :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
That's strange that there really is no structure at this lake. I see you were using the chartreuse color. Is there a specific reason you chose that color?

Leo,
Sorry if you have answered this question before, but I was wondering what ethnicity you are?
I don't mean to pry, but it interested me!!!
Dude in the South we call those 1pounders DINKS ITS ONLY A GOOD FISH at 5 and over anything over 7 has SHOULDERS and a 8 plus is a HAWG OR TOAD my PB is 11.8 that was in DEC
Did you ever find out what kind of spider that is?
And the spider you ran across is not poisonous. Just your usual banana spider
We have got some nice ponds and lakes here in Maine the kennibec river is fun to
If I'm not mistaken the first fish is a redbreast sunfish no?
DAYYUMMM SON!!!!! LOL....you should come to Illinois.
