In the presence of magnetic field
Some protons align parallel to the magnetic field i.e Alfa state , low energy state.. these on absorption of rf undergoes excitation to beta state and relaxes to Alfa state by emission of radiation.
But what happens to the protons alinged anti parallel to the magnetic field i.e beta state protons , high energy state protons how these protons intract with rf Radiation...??
