You can do practically everything with just the Jam. The Plus can be used to browse for sounds, lol. Seriously though I'm glad that they've made the Plus able to power the Jam. Those who want to work stand alone will really appreciate it

..and there was me thinking that my Maschine Jam Controller had become redundant?,,,looks like it will be getting put to good use now!
The use of jam in this setup not only lays down those beats more efficiently but it helps when laying down an actual idea very quickly and effectively too!!

I snagged up a Jam as soon as I heard about them and found out that they were cancelled and might start getting hard to find soon. Held off on the plus and was comparing it to the mk3. Now that I know that the Jam works with this in standalone I'm getting a plus!
Any idea why the jam got canned?

Jelly! Before the update to the plus that added the functionality of the jam, I saw a used jam for a good price in a shop and for some stupid reason talked myself out of it.

Maschine Software 3.0 .MP3 support .SF2 support audio tracks unlimited, stem separation.
What NI should do is bring back their whole line of Maschine products like they had in the past this is why Akai is winning or is ahead of the game.
Maschine studio Plus give it dual flip up touch screens (nice to have that option but still have all the buttons as usual) where you can flip up the screens individually or one long screen that flips up like on their S series controllers, 8 outs 2 xlr combo inputs with 48v phantom power for condenser mics 4 1/4 inch inputs, phono inputs, CV outs 8. Stem separation, full intergration of certain Komplete and Isotope instruments, with sound design capabilities, all the things the current Maschine has, MP3 support .SF2 support, 10 audio tracks, vocal suite, internal HDD front SD card slot, 4 midi puts 2 midi inputs, 16gb Ram.

I was thinking to sell my Maschine Jam, but now i´m happy that i decided to keep it ! The Jam was a Flopp if used with the MK3 coz of the Computer screen, but now - In Standalone Mode, the Jam makes suddely Sense :-) Have u any idea about the Release Date ???

can probably expect a maschine jam mk2 some time this year since it's currently discontinued. maybe when the software compatibilities officially drop.

Peace bro. Appreciate the video. Do you know if there will be a way to rename samples in Maschine Plus directly? I mean sounds that are actually sample recorded in and not just a generic number.
Yes, you can rename your sounds. So I’d imagine you can rename your samples.
@@DDS825 Yeah I’m familiar with renaming the sounds within the group. I haven’t been able to find anything related to renaming the samples themselves as they are stored on the SD card to be loaded up later.

It’s just an update now. If your Maschine plus is up to date it can run the Maschine jam.
