Thanks for this as this is what I plan to do. Is not getting a sleeper cabin an option, as I will be traveling alone so would have to share. Asking as you say they are cramped and this would be enhanced amount people you don't know.
Thank you for the interesting video. I see the place to store luggage is quite easily accessible and therefore not that safe...did you find a way to store luggage in the compartment?
Hi @M. Dieng, if you have a compartment for yourself or did your group you can fit a couple of small bags but large backpacks or suitcases will be really hard to fit in. I didn't at any time really feel the luggage was at risk. But of course there is always a risk so I did just keep an eye on it when we stopped at stations.
It was given the clear last year to spend almost 4 000 000 000 kronor on new night trains on that line. But I've heard that the new trains might come 2025 so it's going to take some time.
Thanks for this video, it's helping me plan my honeymoon!

Great, informative video!
Thanks Dave! I'm busy making some more of these of my experience from the upcoming Fjallraven Classic Germany! Watch out for these videos too :)

That would be really nice to get some updated trains on this leg!!🤞🏾
@@nomadnish definitely! The current ones are probably from 80s. I'll start working on these trains later this year.
