  • This video is a tribute to actor Jared Martin, who played cowboy Dusty Farlow intermittently in 34 episodes of the TV show "Dallas", from 1979 through its very end in 1991. He will be remembered.
This homage was already uploaded in my other YT channel and I´m adding it to this one to put all of them together.

I fell in love with him when I was about 14 and saw him play Frank Grayson in How the west was won. Those incredible blue eyes! There was no internet back then and I didn't know how to find out more about him. One day in a bookshop I found these illustrated books, one for each episode of the series and among them the book on the episode that Jared Martin was in. It was full of lovely shots and I kept looking at them. I have still got it and I still think he is one of the hansomest actors I have ever seen, as well as talented. Yes, I still have a crush on him and I was so sorry to learn that he had passed away. RIP handsome cowboy who made me fall in love ages ago and still holds a piece of my heart.

Hello, I can understand your feelings. It was the same for me regarding Paul Newman. Fell in love with him when I was around 11 and the Italian television showed quiet a few films with him featuring, once a week for several weeks. I got a bit disappointed when I discovered that he was much older in real life than shown in those old films, but then I thought could cope with it after all andI didn't give up on my crush. Can't describe how I felt when he died. Certain feelings, impressions, emotions and memories stay with us and reemerge when triggered. Jared Martin: I was just rewatching an episode in the Columbus series and got curious about Martin's bio, so not only do I now know he sadly passed away, but that he was also a photographer, an activist and a successful singer songwriter, so I'll look his songs up. Cheers.

He was so beautiful. He's the spitting image of Art Garfunkel

I had a major crush on him when I was 7 yrs old. He was playing a character named Varian in a Space sci fi series. He was one of my first memories of being in love. I’m not joking either. ❤️

Varian from Fantastic Voyage. When you grow up in the UK in the 70s and are starved for SF you remember things like that
