Imma tenshin fan but rod had him in extra rounds, rod laughing, hanging onto the ropes after the fight and crying. I'd say tenshin thought he was in the fight of his life. I'd have to agree.
Even if you are fighting smart it dosent matter if it dosent have any affect to the opponent. If you fight smart you must win not lost that means rodtang is a tank

Some fighters tend to stick to being technical and more intelligent in their fighting in which you called "running". Sometimes you gotta be smart if you want to win, and if you aint smart then you'll lose. Nasukawa is smart not to brawl with rodtang as rodtang is a freakin monster in that area so u dont wanna fight him that way, you gotta look for angles to beat him.
as a Thai fighter fan and as much as i supoort Rodtang, i dont think so. sure he fought well, but by numbers of successful hits and counters clearly tenshin wins the match from a technical point of view. usually when a pressure fighter vs a counter fighter unless that pressure is faster otherwise its usually the counter fighter wins a TKO.
Rodtang is a beast but that last round was Tenshin. Being tough walking forward while getting your head snapped back from punches doesn’t win you a fight.
Tenshin was exhausted the last round except for the mini-spurt near the end. Rodtang was landing more there. I hate to say it, but he won because it was in Japan.

A lot of his kicks and punches were blocked or grazed Tenshin and kicks geenrally arent scored highly when hit to the arm and such compared to Muay Thai rules. Kickboxing is scored by 1. KND's 2. Damage 3. Clean Hits 4. Aggression in that order (sweeps/trips dont count as KND's in kickboxing too). Tenshin objectively won the fight, but nonetheless it was a really close fight and Tenshin was pretty gassed at the end because of Rodtang's pace.

Rodtang connected with far more impact, plus Tenshin should have lost points for buying himself time like that. That should have been called attention to and him throwing big moves for flash rather than actually connecting. But this was in Tenshin's court and run by the people promoting him. He was going to win just like Mayweather won by fighting where he was protected by judges.

Rodtang is such an interesting watch. Only recently started watching him and I am sure he will be a household name. The sheer will and motivation that man shows EVERY FIGHT is so impressive and can not be taught. He has gone through things we can't even imagine for that sort of mental conditioning.
Don't forget how many times Tenshin dropped on all fours like a baby so Rodtang won't punish him more....In a street fight between these 2 Rodtang would literally catch a murder charge😂😂
Only in that final extra round you see him actually start to sway a little bit but up until then I seriously thought Tenshin was going to get too exhausted and mauled by Rodtang's kicks and knees. These two fighters are incredible.
Aion333 to be fair though he did fairly well in this fight, and he is no doubt a skilled fighter. but someones true colors comes out at their lowest moments and when the whole world is a watching it will always be remembered.

Kickboxing is scored by 1. KND's 2. Damage 3. Clean Hits 4. Aggression in that order (sweeps/trips dont count as KND's in kickboxing too). Tenshin objectively won the fight, but nonetheless it was a really close fight and Tenshin was pretty gassed at the end because of Rodtang's pace.
@@peets9490 I can see someone saying Tenshin winning on technicals, but I don't completely see it. The most hits had no impact and when gassed, definitely not. Rodtang connected with far more impact, plus Tenshin should have lost points for buying himself time like that.
That should have been called attention to and him throwing big moves for flash rather than actually connecting. But this was in Tenshin's court and run by the people promoting him. He was going to win just like Mayweather won by fighting where he was protected by judges.

Only in that final extra round you see him actually start to sway a little bit but up until then I seriously thought Tenshin was going to get too exhausted and mauled by Rodtang's kicks and knees. These two fighters are incredible.
