absolutely love this version of ‘empty space’. You should check out his live performance of ‘wolves’ he did in the royal albert hall. This song is from his 4th studio album and it’s originally a more upbeat type of song. But I think the lyrics (as always) are fantastic and the meaning of the song is conveyed so much better in the acoustic version. :)

This was a very educational reaction, you really broke it down very well, technically. But I do wonder if that approach completely cut you off from the actual song. You never once mentioned the emotional or lyrical messages. The song was like an exhibit that you were judging and explaining. But you missed the whole. The impact. James Arthur is a singer that exudes emotion and pain and you made no mention of him at all in that context during the breakdown. Comes across as very detached imo.
Thank you this guy fucking stops the song every 5 seconds. To talk about the piano or the guitar. What the fuck.
