I wished Emmett didn't leave his role and Brendan had kept his promise to Steven about him, leah and lucas being a proper family and giving ste the future he deserves. Right now Ste is not living that proper future, charged for Amy's murder, HIV positive, living on the streets, doing drugs. Man Ste went down hill after Brendan left.

:') damn they are so happy and to see Brendan like this just melts my heart. I don't think he saw himself, settled, out of the darkness of his life and just being with someone that gives him everything he never expect he could be capable of doing or worth receiving any type of love. I mean, look, he learning to cook, be patient, be a dad again (you know what I mean), know there is more to him than pain. Love what he said to Ste, this is just perfect and beautiful side to their relationship.
Ok. Now I will survive the weekend :) happy Brendan makes my heart melting. He so deserves it.

Gah I love this. I hope HO gives us a few more of these cheesy, romantic scenes before Emmett's final episode. Its funny but I'm most entertained when it's Brendan and Ste alone in a room together chatting and being normal boyfriends. It's too cute how giddy they still get around each other and how much they love one another.
Aaaww, I love this episode!! Brendan's reeeaaaaally nice backside 2:09-2:25 got me quite distracted and I replayed the "Caaaaaaasper" at least 30 times *LOL*
All the Stendan scenes are precious. The looks, the little smiles, Brendan maltreating the dough made me laugh loudly and long, Brendan wanting to "beak bread with my gay lover" (I didn't see any signs of sarcasm or irony... at least I didn't want to!), Stendan talking about their future
Look at his, god help me beautiful face when he says:You, me, Leah and Lucas.He seems so cute and fragile.

amy is being ridiculous, she isn't the best mother herself and while I understand she doesn't trust brendan I don't think she is entitled to deny the kids to have their dad's gifts (even if brendan buyed them) or to not allow them to see him.
now this episode was amazing! it made me cry both tears of joy and sadness when brendan was making promises to Ste it was sweet but we all know that BB won't be there to keep his promises :(

even if i twas just a gift? in what way that could hurt them? wouldn't be more hurting for them thinking that brendan simply ignores them? or not being allowed to see their dad? moreover, it's likely that ste wrote a note to them too to accompany the gifts. amy isn't being a good mother, she was the first to leave the kids to be with an unkown boyfriend fleeing in another country or entrusting them with ally (that was a con man and then again she didn't know very well), she is just ridiculous.

Just thought I noticed a litle too much appreciation in Brendans eye, looking at topless Kevin, and I think he may be worried whether he himself is capeable of not screwing up good things again. His belief in Steven is bulletproof I'm sure, but OK - I'll lean a bit on your faith in my two favourite guys. I want me to be wrong and you to be right.

Three thoughts.
1.They are too freakin' adorable (Not a word I ever thought I would use when describing something involving Brendan Brady).
2.Kevin seems genuinely bothered/jealous about Brendan being with Ste,plus the flirting with Brendan comes way too naturally. Maybe I'm just seeing things.
3. Could Emmett have looked more gorgeous? Those pants on him had me thinking some thoughts.
they explained it in late December. He got jealous thinking Craig was cheating on him with a female co-worker (he wasn't)and then they decided to have a kid (bc that always solves relationship problems) but then when the kid was born, Craig freaked out about a) being a dad in general, and b) being a gay dad specifically, and then took off on the bus which JP chased. Brendan saw and they met at a pub later.The surrogate then dropped the baby off to JP, who had attempted to abandon it in Dublin.

Doug pointed out that the Brendan label was still on the gifts. Clearly, Amy doesn't have a problem with her kids getting things from Ste, their dad. The issue is Brendan.

Lots of Leanne bashing. I found her hilarious in today's episode, she made Doug and John Paul's scene's bearable. And I love pissy Ste, whenever John Paul comes 'round, I sense a love/hate vibe.

I didn't say it was a good SL, I just said that's how they explained it. As much as I love JP, I wish they'd left the sunset ending alone or brought them back as a couple.
And even if he did write that it was Brendan who bought them, it was from the both of them. She could have given them the gift w/o saying it was from Brendan too. Her problem she be with Brendan not Ste, it would have been a nice gesture especially after she took the kids away so abruptly. And wasn't she the one that left her kids with a practical stranger, she doesn't have the best track record when it comes to decision making either.
Ste sent it, not Brendan. I doubt he would have put on the label that it was from Brendan knowing how she feels about him, even if Brendan did buy it. And i never she said she wasn't justified in thinking Brendan is bad news, cause he was. So yeah, in my mind she's being petty.
I understand what you are saying and I get it, I really do. I like Brendan and believe he can change. But Ste never was worse than BB. Amy was scared of Ste's rage "explosions", but we could see how terrible Ste felt after.He even tried to kill himself.Most part of Brendan's beatings were done coldly to fright Ste. BB is intelligent and calculating and always wanted to own and control Ste, he abuse his mind and emotions too.Ste just wanted a perfect family and exploded when he felt cornered.

Except it was actually from Brendan, and the label said as much. So yeah, it has everything to do with Brendan, and Amy has perfectly good reason to keep her kids away from him.
I really liked the club scene because at least everything is out in the open. Doug knows that JP slept with Brendan. JP knows that Doug used to be with Ste and dealt drugs at one point. JP also knows that Doug has a sore spot about Brendan. They just fast forwarded through like 3 months worth of discoveries for a soap in a single episode. I really like them together. Plus I think PJ Brennan is really hot so I am biased.
This is true. This is not the same JP we remember, but wouldn't you be a little different if the man you love ran out on you and your baby. I think JP really has been affected by Craig's abandonment of him and their son.

I'm sorry; I know how Amy feels about Brendan and Brendan and Ste together and it's one thing not to approve of their relationship and not want her kids around some one she sees as dangerous but Ste still is the father. He still has rights and if she returned that sweater just because she's angry with Ste, then that's incredibly petty and childish of her, cause Ste is a great dad!! and that present had nothing to do with Brendan.

They cause controversy because their storyline is terrible. If they were a straight couple, HO would face tons of complains for this stupid attempt to make an abusive storyline in to an epic romance.
Emmet and Kieron have an amazing chemistry, the story could be really good, but unfortunately, it was a disaster.
And i don't care what people say, people loved McDean too, and the truth is Craig treated JP like trash during their whole story. But at least it was a far better storyline than Stendan
