I've always loved Yoshimura and 2 of my 3 current motorcycles have full Yoshimura exhausts. My 3rd motorcycle I just purchased a couple weeks ago and getting a Yoshimura is always the first on list of modifications. The quality and craftsmanship they put into their work not to mention the performance and sound is always amazing. Watching the videos with Ari Henning and now this video really makes me appreciate the heritage of this company. Planning a trip to this museum just got added to my bucket list. Congratulations and I am happy the family was able to see these motorcycles, very special.

Thanks so very much Jack. There is so much more that is surfacing after this video was released. We hope that there is more of this story we can share in the very near future!

My father was stationed at the US Air Force base next to Fukuoka (Itazuke AFB) from 1959 to 1962. He raced motorcycles with some of the Air Force personnel and Japanese locals. He knew Pops as part of the racing community. My father's last motorcycle when we lived there was a Honda CB92 with the CYB 150cc race kit. I love the look of these old bikes, simple and easy to work on. Back when more people could afford to race motorcycles.

I have been watching these bikes from the time they were on eBay and being sold not far from where I live. I could tell by looking at the bike that 250 was something special. I shared the auction posting on FB in the CYB and RC Honda page where it was seen by people who know the honda racing machines and riders. I have been watching the progress on RUclips as it journeyed to Japan and back to the US. Very cool to see. Always a Yoshimura fan.

The way this story unfolded for us and continues to unfold is crazy. I believe they came across our bow about 15 years ago, but for whatever reason the timing was not right. Timing is everything (especially in racing) and we are so excited to see these machines! The red bike will take a lap at this years Barber Vintage fest, ridden by Yusaku Yoshimura, Pops grand son. Fujio will be there too!

I wish Yoshimura would make exhausts for a HondaCB125 or a Yamaha YBR 125

Lovely story. Nice to see Fujio reunited with his father's bikes.
In my mind Yoshimura Japan will always be synonymous with Suzuki Racing..... Always
