In the future, if you get draft horses, in Texas there is a couple that has a farm outside of Amarillo and they take drafts. The drafts are not sold or rehomed. They are there for retirement. It is called Fletcher Farm Amarillo. It is a wonderful place. They take care of the horses and love them and allow them to retire.
Please report the owner of that mustang (that is on those papers) to BLM so they don't adopt to that person again. There is a money incentive for adopters but there is also regulations to get that money (like owning the horse for one year at least and/or limited sales). If one gets away with tossing a mustang into the auction pipeline and continues to adopt for that incentive, it's a bad thing.

My hubby had to give the last act of kindness to his tiny Chihuahua last year she was 5 years old. Suffered an injury during fireworks that freaked her out. He took her to vets. So many different opinions and no firm help. Turns out she had broken all 4 legs. So pissed at the vets.
@@patriciahayden8955 I had a cat that was vomiting constantly, on and off for six months. I was rushing him to the vet every two months. Some of these horses broke my heart. Especially the grey with the melanomas. 100% Agree -- Training Saves Horses! The best thing you can do is take the time to teach them. Even those destined to be pasture pets need solid manners or they're going to get passed up, loaded up and shipped to the border. I do hope you give the stringhalt horse a chance, though. It's a fantastic thing to do, to take a horse out of auction and put them to sleep humanly. You are doing a kind act which an owner was not prepared to do.
Loved your rescue efforts. I will keep donating. Would love to hear from the people that feel I shouldn’t donate to you. In fact, I would love to meet with these people face to face and discuss it. I hate humans who abuse and don’t care for there animals, I’ve been riding since I was 4 and It means a lot, Beautiful creatures. They don’t deserve to be unloved, Abused. or anything to give them a horrible life, Thank you for saving these beautiful babies❤️
Doc is my favorite, I wish more vet were like him. There are several large animal vet that just push the horses through and don't really care about them. Doc cares about each animal and wants them to improve. That's for sharing this it was a good auction rescue.

Great episode! Having done the mustang program it is from the 2nd owner on where mustangs can end up at auction legally just like any other horse. The first owner always has to sign a Private maintenance and care (pmaca) form to be approved, where they agreed not to sell the horse where it might end up in the slaughter pipeline
Great job everyone! Nothing against the other vets at all, but when it's not doc I do get a bit disappointed as doc is my fave outta everyone, the farrier is a close second! Both great personalities and make the show a bit more lighthearted and fun. The whole team is amazing you guys all work so great together and know exactly what needs to be done, EVERY SINGLE RESCUE should be run the same way, VERY efficient and effective.
Oh my goodness. A heart breaking episode. Thank goodness you were there for those poor ones, to give the last act of kindness. I’m praying for the others. Thank you for your kindness.
Cannot believe how many blind horses you come across at the auctions and even surrenders too.... I have been around horses most of my life and can only remember one thoroughbred that had an eye injury.... bless you all for the work you do .....
i think a lot of the blind ones weren't even injuries, just pure neglect. they got an infection, and the owners didn't have money, or just didn't bother get them care, and that ended up causing them to go blind. it's shameful. not judging those that didn't have the money, hard times can hit anyone. but the ones that couldn't be bothered to be responsible owners? garbage humans.
Thank you so much for helping the horses who needed the last act of kindness. I know that part of the job is hard to do, but we all knew the outcome on those precious lives. Your kindness was all they needed. Thank you Doc.

When I was a kid in the 1990’s I was literally obsessed with horses. I made a wooden stick pony by stuffing a sock for the head and making the mane out string. I’d rent out every damn book at the library about horses. I could tell you still about horses even now being in my 30’s. But I wanted a horse so damn bad as a kid and every year in the summer we’d go visit my grandpa in Montana. Well my grandpa knew how badly I wanted one and so with my saved allowance money we went to the auctions. It was still one of the more traumatizing events of my life. Seeing all the poor old horses rail thin and walking lame. Being only 8 I cried for weeks afterwards because I could only save one. The horse I chose was a sweet old gelding, a registered quarter horse called Royal Dream. He must of been older than 25 years old. Got him for 200 bucks. But he would let me ride him and had the sweetest temperament that he was very safe around kids. I’d shower that horse with love and affection every year I’d come and visit. I’d give so many apples and carrots and would brush and braid his mane. It was one of my chores to check on the water for the cows and everyday I’d ride royal with just a halter bareback out in the pastures. He changed from skin and bones to fat and spoiled within a year. I got to have him for about 4 years before he passed away. I’ll never forget Royal Dream. It haunts me I couldn’t save em all but at least I could save one.
I wonder how long it’s been since anyone spoke to these horses with care and kindness. Hopefully they can tell that things will get better from here on.
As a horse owner that had to put her heart horse down a few years ago, thank you for a levitating the pain and suffering for some of these babies. Thank you, even if it’s painful. Bless you all!!! That yellow mini is adorable!!!

Makes me so sad that some of these guys are meeting their end at these auctions, thank you for saving so many though. And giving the sickest ones a dignified end to suffering. True angels 😇
It's a fantastic thing to do, to take a horse out of auction and put them to sleep humanly. You are doing a kind act which an owner was not prepared to do.
It seems like a lot more people are willing to allow y’all to purchase horses before to the auction. ♥️ love to see that!
I’m enamored with the Medicine Hat! I’ll definitely be following the progress of this one.
I just cry every time I see your rescue from the action. How can people be so cruel. Thank you for all you do, wish I could help
I don't know, I'll NEVER understand cruel people.
Loved your rescue efforts. I will keep donating. Would love to hear from the people that feel I shouldn’t donate to you. In fact, I would love to meet with these people face to face and discuss it. I am COVID-19 vaccinated and would be willing to travel to visit with them. And, believe me, it won’t be the germs that they will need to worry about.
Im 13, I really want to keep my goal of growing up and saving many horses, Barn animals.
Prayers to the horses that didn’t make it. Good job everyone including Doc and Garrett!
Thank u for rescuing all the horses. So sad that there was a lot that got the last act of kindness
Prayers for all Caden’s family. All who loved him. May God comfort you all. Great rescue 47 wow. I feel so bad for all of these horses. Seems like more in rough shape then good. Y’all are loving people. May God bless you in all you do. May you always be able to rescue
I would love a “Garrick” in my life. He is such a sound, caring, intelligent and kind person. 🤩💜
So happy you could give these horses a second chance. Here's hopes to them finding their forever homes
So glad the horses eye has improved so much. I bet he had a lot of pain before. Thank you for loving these horses so much.
Me too
Oh my goodness. A heart breaking episode. Thank goodness you were there for those poor ones, to give the last act of kindness. I’m praying for the others. Thank you for your kindness.
Seeing that Belgian with the bad eye ripped my heart out. Thank you for saving him and keeping him off the truck to Mexico.
Cannot believe how many blind horses you come across at the auctions and even surrenders too....
I have been around horses most of my life and can only remember one thoroughbred that had an
eye injury.... bless you all for the work you do .....
i think a lot of the blind ones weren't even injuries, just pure neglect. they got an infection, and the owners didn't have money, or just didn't bother get them care, and that ended up causing them to go blind. it's shameful. not judging those that didn't have the money, hard times can hit anyone. but the ones that couldn't be bothered to be responsible owners? garbage humans.
@@trailofdebris if no income don't own. Ask for help from some kind of organization. There are slot of help wanted signs out there
Just saw the surrender . God bless those that surrender their horses , thank you
Sooo much! Much respect brothers and sisters!
Thank you so much for helping the horses who needed the last act of kindness. I know that part of the job is hard to do, but we all knew the outcome on those precious lives. Your kindness was all they needed. Thank you Doc.
😂DOC: "I feel a little love when I see pizza." Thank you for all you do and mentioning big lick that horrible cruelty of a “show”.
You could name a horse Cadence. It honors him while still being a little different then him. My heart goes out to his family and you. You will always be remembered Caden ❤️
Who is Caden and what happened to him?
Thank you for caring for these poor animals.
Some of this is hard to watch but at the same time these stories need to be told! Thank you and your amazing team for all you do!!
This comment is rather old, but I wanted you to know how happy I am that you were able to save Gen's Ice!
I love your term “last act of kindness” that is truly what it is. I thank your team and all those that donated to help these beautiful animals in all the ways you are all helping. God Bless each and every one of you❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love the farrier....he is a sweetheart!
I just love people like this, that rescue hurt and just normal horses and animals it warms my heart to see that all these horses are going to great homes
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! APPRECIATE YOU GUYS! ❤️❤️🐴❤️❤️💕
Really enjoyed Garrett showing us a rescue pickup. He is true Tennessee & loved the "smoother then peanut butter" comment. Never heard that 1!!
Hello from Boston, England, UK. In tears as usual!
These horses needed kindness and you gave them just that. Hopefully after all they have been through they will experience all the love that people like yourselves and hopefully future adopters have to give. Thank you so so much. The impact this will have on the lives of so many animals that just want to feel warmth on their backs, comfort and full bellies is probably more than we will ever know. I just wish we could do more. Sending you all of my love.
Garrick could have his own show. He's a natural.
You are all a wonderful team together - and you are SO lucky to have Doc. Well done, all of you.
Thank you for rescuing the big drafts also, all too often they go to slaughter
I absolutely 💯% think Maddie is both AHHHHMAZING and BEAUTIFUL!! She is my favorite!!! You go girl!!!
God bless you people, seriously. God bless you.
We love Doc and all the staff there. Y’all are doing a wonderful thing helping the horses that have no voice.
The horse your farrier went to pick up is beautiful. 💜💜😘
Thank you for saving them! God bless y’all!
These POOR horses. Such bad condition. 😭. THANK GOD FOR RESCUERS LIKE YOUR TEAM.
It makes me so mad to people say crap you guys, and you are doing so much good work for the horse from Nebraska!!!!
Bless your ever loving hearts, for helping save these downtrodden souls. To give them as much love, and medical care, and new forever homes that you can, and for giving those who has suffered just way to much and pain free, act of kindness that leads them to the Rainbow Bridge
Thank you for all you do for these angels! Cant believe how these horses are just dumped at auction in these conditions!
Don't think us we should be thanking you over and over again all of you bless you all for helping these horses bless you bless you bless you Lily Langston Dundalk Maryland USA
God bless each and everyone of you for the work you do. If I had the means to do what you do, I'd consider my life blessed. 💕 To the nasty lady for making false accusations...remember this "what goes around comes right back around". You may loose something or someone that's truly precious and special to you. Remember that when money seems to be ruling your heart...shame on you!!!
I feel you are doing a wonderful job with the resque and love 💕 of all the animals that being said put down out of anger but real concern ..
I’m 82yrs old I cheer you on.👵🏻🐎💕💘
I've been riding for over 30 years, I've watched multiple videos, and I think you do an excellent job.
I have a young horse and at the Hacienda I have her there's a blind horse... beautiful horse and very sweet. He follows orders sooo good! And love apples!
I really admire what you are doing for these horses. It's so sad to see that some have to be put to sleep, but I know that it had to be done. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I have been to this auction so much and my favorite horse we ever had we rescued was in 2016.
She was pretty old but she enjoyed being able to relax with the time she did have left, I definitely do miss her
The work y'all do, rescuing and saving the lives of so many horses, ponies, mules, etc, is amazing. 👏👏 As soon as I get back on my feet I will contact y'all to setup a monthly donation to help y'all out. God Bless you all for loving animals so much & being a champion for all those you can. Everyday I cherish the memories all of my horses 🏇🐎 gave me so many years ago. We rescued several over the years & were able to get them healthy again & off to new, loving, forever homes. You're all in my prayers. 🥰🥰♥️♥️🐎🐎💞💞😇😇🙏🙏🙌🙌✌️✌️
