Most of Shakira's discography is rock, she was the first big latin female rockstar back in the 90's! You should react to her older singles live, like Poem to a Horse or Inevitable. Or her cover of Dude Looks like a Lady by Aerosmith

Shakira here was 43 & JLo was 50..both still looking great👌🏼🔥❤️ her (Shakira) first big hit outside of Spanish speaking countries was “Whenever, Wherever” (the one where she began with more belly dancing), released in 2001 so at that point it’d been 19 yrs. Dancing keeps you in great shape! Also that little girl is JLo & Marc Anthony’s daughter. The children were in “cages” representing the kids in basically cells at the US/Mexico border for months at a time, without their parents, awaiting decisions by US border patrol (many of the kids were born in the US), which is why she proceeded w “Born in the USA” with a double-sided flag, one side w the US flag & the other w the Puerto Rican flag, where JLo is from.

Back in University, I was really into Spanish Rock and I got to see Shakira in a tiny venue when she was just starting to try to enter the American music scene. She played with an acoustic guitar and all her music was exclusively in Spanish. I bought her CD after the performance. Wish I would have gotten it autographed.

It depends of what are you talking about, because yes, Cuba has a big influence in Salsa rhythm but nothing else, Colombia has the biggest influence in reggaeton that's on top of the charts rn, also have very famous artists like Karol G, J Balvin, Maluma, Juanes and obviously the queen Shakira.
Shakiras mother is columbian with spanish-catalonian roots and her father is actually american-lebanese (hence her last name Mebarak). She learned belly dance from her grandmother on her fathers side because it's part of lebanese culture. That tongue thing she did is also a lebanese cultural thing. Btw, Pique is 10 years younger than Shakira, they met when he was 23 and she was 33 but they actually aren't married, but they do have two kids together.

You also missed the statement Shakira and JLo made in the song with JLo’s daughter. It was a protest against kids in cages along the Texas-Mexico border. There were children being kept in chain link areas inside big warehouses and when it hit the news, there were protests around the country. It was a bad look for the Trump administration, although there is evidence it happened in a small degree pre/post Trump. As for the choreography, these are all professional dancers-there are so many in New York, Las Vegas, and L.A. that are incredibly trained and wait for opportunities to be in top concerts like this along with Broadway shows. For them, it is an incredible addition to their resumes. Many of them travel around the world with top name entertainers.
