Yipee Yah Yeah! Thank you, Permobil, for showing me how to fix the wobble! SmartDrive is crazy awesome! I am 250lb and an active wheelchair user indoor and outdoor. This device is super helpful to my life. If the clamp is not tight, the clamp rotates away from proper orientation causing 1) wobble and 2) potential SmartDrive falling off the clamp.
By observing this short video, am not sure, but i can imagine this devise could possibly also keep wheelchair from rolling backwards, which would have a desirable safety application. Anyone have answers or updates?
unfortunately I just purchased the smart drive and with all the respect it is giving me a terrible experience. Every little bump the smart growth will come out and I almost lost it because it fell while I was writing my chair. I hope someone there to show me better way to use a smart drive after all, it was very expensive purchasing it. Thank you
Shimon Kahloun have them make your claimp as a solid on so it can’t be taken off there is not a point for taking it off the only thing you will ever want coming off will be the smart drive when taking it into cars
