Excellent video! You're like me! I get there early enough to go through the TSA security in time enough to watch aircraft land but mainly takeoff before it is time for me to board my own flight! Then I have fun watching all of the other planes in front if us takeoff before we do. Then of course, I enjoy our own takeoff run down that runway! To me, that is the most exciting part of any flight. But landing is interesting too. It's just that I like to feel the energy and power of the plane before we are thrust into the air!

Honestly.. It was long and uncomfortable and exhausting. But, I learned from it. How not to book a flight. LOL I went to England from Los Angeles California round trip. I booked the flight with too short of a layover both ways, of course my flights were delayed and so it was stressful nearly missed our connecting flights, then, on the way back home, the first plane, an old Boeing 767 was so freezing cold like nearly unbearable, so bad that the man next to me who flies back and forth from England frequently was like, is it me or is it really cold. LOL Anyway, I was super excited to get on a nice airbus from Philly to CA, lots of leg room, entertainment, etc. I was so going to sleep. But then.. Unexpected turbulence for the entire flight some of which was terrible. So bad that the Pilot apologized for how horrible the flight was when we were getting ready for our decent. LOL So I was scared to death! Oh yeah forgot to mention We had terrible turbulence half way through the atlantic too. Like the kind where the plane drops really far. Crazy though. I wasn't as scared that time. Other than that, the red eye on the way to England, upon our decent was breathtaking. What a view.. The sunrise, billowy clouds.. Amazing. Love that part.

Wow! CLT has come a long way to now have a 767 to MIA. As someone who has to always connect in MIA, I have mixed feelings about not having the ERJ on that route anymore. I miss having that single seat to yourself, but I don't miss never getting your luggage because there's too much of it going to/from MIA. Also, I really enjoyed the tour of CLT after takeoff. Thanks for not cutting away. I kept pausing the video every so often and tried to pick out different spots. At 12:45, it looks like the Monroe bypass is taking shape. Also, where you said you can see the FL coastline, that looks like a beautiful view of the space center. I really enjoyed the video, and I always enjoy your video style of arriving to the airport and a little spotting before and after the flight.

Mark Rowsey I work for American Airlines in Miami and the reason for operating the B763 is due to connections with large cAArgo to destinations that operates grom LATIN AMERICA using 7673 continuing service to Charlotte and to other segments that we dont operate from MIA and vice versa. American is based on FPM( FREIGHT or CAARGO PER MILE). If theres no cargo then the segment gets CXLD due to high fuel prices and take off and landing fees. This is why the tray service in Buisness class was eliminated. The bill for catering was extremely high, so it was between full Buisness class service for 1:30 hr flight and rise the fares or eliminate the tray service and keep the costs down ? Management chose to keep costs down....

The 767s CF6 engines at 8:45 kick some ass they are the powerful and wider variants of the 757s RB211. Great marriage of two American products lead to this master piece. Rest in peace 767 you will be missed

SD- I follow flights in CLT and have never known of any AA flights using 767, 777 or 787 in or out of CLT, only A330 for flights to Europe and sometimes Punta Cana. The only time heavies other than A330 are at CLT is charter flights. Back in August we had a VIrgin A340 come to CLT from Manchester carrying a soccer team for an exhibition game. The last scheduled flights with 767’s was US Airways and they were retired just after the AA merger.

You dont know why they dont serve a meal. Its a 90 min flight and American only does meal service if the flight is more than 2 hours. The other reason why it was a Boeing 767-30ER is because its going to go to Europe, South Africa, or South America after you get off the plane. They might as well make money bringing the plane to the airport its originating at for the international flight rather than ferry it there spending money on fuel and crew with no profit. I work for an airline so i know behind the scenes.

CadetClark1996 Aviation MIA to ORLANDO is a 55 minute flight. You dont know what you are wriing about. They use or using a B7673 because 90% of Passengers connecting via MIA to ORLANDO are the BRAZILIANS from SAO PAULO BRAZIL night before together with cans of cargo which it can't be accommodated in a 737, 757 or A320. Once a day it operates a full turn around of 80% in main cabin and business class of BRAZILIAN passengers connecting via MIA to Sao Paulo Brazil including aprox 6 cans of LD8s of cAArgo connecting on to BELO HORIZONTE and MONTEVIDEO URUGUAY.
