To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. I've been quite unsure about investing in this current market and at the same time I feel it's the best time to get started on the market, what are your thoughts?

The market grows usually at a 10% rate. You're really not making any money unless you have a lot of it and are willing to risk it all.. if you have a thousand dollars you might make a hundred or you might lose a thousand.. you can also make a hundred by going to work for a day every day. That's a lot more income than risking a thousand..

@Ra’s Abdul I was like you few years back, lost money too. It all depends on your ability to do due diligence, all brokers have pros and cons. if you are a beginner you need guidance just like I got from Emily Rebecca Baker an investment adviser and financial consultant at Goldman Sachs that I bank with, I copied her trades for more than a year under her guidance, I have made more than 3mil dollars, investing more than 500k dollars in the process.

Liam G you’re confusing yourself over how one becomes wealthy and one becomes rich. Don’t do that to yourself. Additionally, Buffett’s activism ended early in his career after some bad experiences with it. He typically uses Berkshire funds to buy a company outright and keep existing management in place while giving them full autonomy, which is the opposite of activism.

At 11 he bought his first stock. That would be 1941. He bought 3 shares at $38 and sold at $40 CLAIMING he made a profit. WRONG. Unless Buffet was trading on his smart phone with his robinhood app, the commissions he paid would've eaten all his profit and likely caused a big loss. Brokers were EXTREMELY expensive before the internet. He would've paid a MINIMUM of 2% for a small trade so thats $2.28 to buy and $2.40 to sell = $4.68. Then the broker would also charge a fixed commission. In the 1940s it would've been $3 to buy and $3 to sell on $120 worth of stock, so he made $6, but lost $10.68 in commissions for a net loss of $4.68.

It’s as simple as this, you trade the range boundaries for the best opportunities. Attempting to trade range breakouts is a different story! It’s difficult - the market often tricks you around
the range boundaries, giving the impression that it’s breaking out, when it’s really not. One thing i understand about trading is having a good method or strategy, Blended model strategy taught me a lot how to avoid such tricks. This is called a breakout trap, or a “fake out”. this breakout traps are very common around the range tops & bottoms, even to
experienced traders it is risky. if you want to learn duly, i highly recommend this method to get your own learning and ebook that covers one of the most powerful trading system in history. discovered by Dmitry Vladislav.
