Sherry is immune. She had the vaccine remember. In RE, once the virus is cured, the host becomes immune and gains some abilities like Sherry's healing. Wesker also passed it down to Jake giving him enhanced body. Leon and the others didn't. I'm guessing Alyssa passed down Daylight to Grace thus why Victor is targeting her. If my theory is correct and hopefully so, Daylight can cure Leon.

It was just a meagre ballistic missile, cos that’s gonna somehow neutralise the threat of a city overrun with all those monsters 😂.
