I love my Honda, they made this little red horse a very good and reliable motorbike, i use it for commuting, on dirt roads, climb mountains and pass, ride in suburbs, in the middle of townships and cruise the highway at 125 kph .
It s not a KTM or a unrideable powerful animal, it s just a good friend for many things.
i done basics mods for functionality like, Renthal bars, barkbusters, O-ring chain and sprocket and 5 holes in the air box. no ecu or exhaust for now,
The right tires for the dirt/road use and the right pressure help to have fun on those adventures journey . The best way to enjoy it is to ride it and appreciate it s limitation.

Wow, didn't expect this. Checked out your videos back when I was looking at both the CRF and KLX. Wound up with a lightly used CRF. Keep holding off on the suspension as it'll be an all in affair.

Great review, I almost went with the tall seat from seat concepts, but with the k tech suspension makes the 300l much taller so i went with the comfort seat instead , but yeah different handlebars, seat and suspension totally transforme the bike
    Cheers!

Great video. I'm looking forward to watching your comparison video of klx vs crf. I did test both bike's and personally I thought both bike's are great. Now I'm on my second drz 400. First one I had , I put over 62k miles before it got ran over by a garbage truck. Fortunately for me, the bike was parked when that happened. Now on my 22 drz I currently have just shy of 16k Miles. I'm looking at one of these bike's. Leaning towards the new redesign 2024 klx. Everything mechanically same as current klx but cosmetically lots of changes. Not that the current klx looks bad, but the update is again very nice. Thank you for a fantastic video. Ride safe 🤙 p.s. you Sr. Got a new subscriber 👍

Great video thanks I bought mine new February 21 2024. Noticed 2 things that I haven't heard anyone talk about. 1. The wind really blows me around on this thing. Maybe it's bc it's the lightest bike I ever had who knows. 2. Is there a trick to fueling this thing without spraying gas on the tank? Why did Honda put that contraption in the fuel tank?

... Subscribed with a bell. ... Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and post the video. I know all that take time.
    2021 CRF 300 Rally w/ABS owner here.
Rear brake- I also have the same issue. With my AlpineStar Tech 7 Drystar boots I thought it was the lack of feel as to why I needed to almost stand on the brake. Then I was thinking do I need to bleed the line? Then, is it the brake pads? Maybe a combination of things.
You are the first person that has mentioned anything about the rear brake that I have watched and I have watched EVERYTHING I can find on the 300 L and Rally.
    .
On a totally different note, I am debating on starting another yt channel just for the Rally or do I change my current channel name to "Bay Boat and Bike Life" or, "My 2 Addictions" ? 🙂I really do not want a second yt channel to keep up with.
    Thanks again,
    . Jeff .

What does the crf do better than a wr250r other than low end torque and lower seat height? I'm trying to decide between a crf, wr, drz for back country roads and trails. I enjoy your take on all these bikes and your mods. Great job thx!

The WR’s greatest asset is its suspension! I like the CRF more in every way, but suspension upgrades are a must if you go CRF. They are all great reliable bikes! Thanks for Watching!!

Interesting take on the new bike. Seems like the gearing is a bit lower than the KLX. With stock tires and gearing I see6300 rpm at 60 mph and easily ran 75 mph on I-80 near Clarion on the way to the PA BDRX. I was running 23PSI in the tires and would think your tires were soft for rocky trails. Great review.

Doing my suspension resprung the front forks and installed a ohlins ho703 rear shock made a huge difference. Also went to a 45 t rear and 13t front. Ride mostly off road single track. Did a ecu flash, and full yoshi exhaust and intake mod. Great bike.
