I finally had a chance to watch this! Glad things are going well (except for Weirdo, ew, he can F right off). The chocolate thing is so funny to me because in the US we’re constantly told our chocolate is crap and the superior chocolate can be found in the UK or Europe in general. I do think the UK chocolate tastes better than the generic stuff you can get here, so at least you’re winning on that front.
My last experience of American chocolate was a cheap airport snack, so it's not fair to compare it with what I have had in the UK... but I did immediately spit the American out. I may have to get my hands on some good American stuff to do a proper taste test. That said, I honestly think New Zealand chocolate is the best in the world. I have not been very gracious about my thoughts on British food in general, so when I got my hands on some NZ chocolate the other week I ran around giving it to all the people I have been complaining to as an apology/explanation 😅 It appears I have been really spoiled for quality food my whole life and just didn't know it until I started travelling. It has me thinking that NZ should advertise itself as a foodie destination, not just a nature and adventure destination.
