      I know this is an older vid so you may have sorted it out by now, but remember, people can always turn things down but there's a limit to how high they can turn things up. Depending on your editing software, -12dB to -15dB is a great spot for your volume to be. "softness" and "relaxing" have far more to do with your cadence, tone, and pop filter (literally the thing between your mouth and your mic) than volume.
