Fijian Chiefs present Matanigasau to Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama

The Tikina of Vitogo, led by Ratu Viliame Sovasova (Tui Vitogo), together with the Taukei Vidilo - Ratu Viliame Bouwalu and the Taukei Saqele - Ratu Iliesa Raseru offered their Matanigasau (Fijian Protocal of asking forgiveness) to the Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama stating that they wish to apologise for all their erroneous deeds against the current Government in the past.
The group presented two (2) tabus, one (1) was for the "Matanigasau" and the other was to show their support for the current Government of the day. Both the Tabuas were accepted by the Prime Minister signifying that he has accepted their "Matanigasau" or traditional apology.
This auspicious occasion was held after the opening of the new FNPF office in Lautoka yesterday.
