    I liked the first ones the best, they looked good, not too oily, and were made pretty hygienically. The ended up cute and nicely fried, and the cook seemed very friendly (and also handsome ;))

      And I'm not sure 6:03 is really Sweet Potato paste. That might be White Bean, "Shiro An" 白あん which is more likely used for Tai-Yaki

      It's definitely sweet potato (鳴門金時いも Naruto Kintoki-imo) paste. "鳴門鯛焼本舗 (Naruto Taiyaki Honpo)" probably in Asakusa too (they have many shops in Kanto and Kansai area).

    The Japanese Customer Service is so good! (Japan in general).
    1. The amount of ingredients make everything worth it
    2. They are always saying "thank you" "is a pleasure" "visit us again" "see you soon"..... with a HUGE SMILE in the face
    3. They look proud of they work.

    機械化で量産出来るお菓子も良いけど、こういう「自分の店ならではのもの」が出来るものが今少なくなってるから、無理に増やさなくても良いからこれからも守るべき日本文化として大事にしていきたいな

    一番最初のハンズ前?でやってはる、ひょっこりはんに似てる方の笑顔が最高だな!
    高速回収も見事ながら、最後一個うまく拾えなくてうっかりはんなとこもいい!
    やっぱ堅物職人もいいけど、常に笑顔なプロの方が好き!こっちまで自然と笑顔になってくるし!

    Manji symbol on package. One of the origins of the swastika.
    It does not have a hateful meaning in Japan. Rather, it's often a religious symbol for religions like Hindu and Buddhism.

      We watched a video in history class about Hitler and it said that he went to a religious school (I think it was Catholic? I'm pretty sure I'm wrong) and it said that he got the idea of the swastika from a symbol that was apart of that religion.

      I heard that in 2020 Japan are gonna remove all the manji of the temples to avoid trigger the tourists. Is quite sad to see they need to remove something of their culture, all because of terrible people.

      I was there for three weeks doing study abroad. I actually went to that same taiyaki place thats the second one in the video, located in Asakusa. Taking the train to class, I walked 8 miles every day, just to and from class. Went to shinjuku twice after school one day, shot up to 14 miles for that day. They walk, a LOT. I wish I could walk that much just doing my daily thing.
