Ecological awareness is a cute way to fraze it. How ecological aware is one to be if one may control the current of the winds and cloud's above thee?

Great observation Cracker, and the answer is; I don't know...But it is thought provoking contemplating about meanings behind philosophical talks!! :)

So easy for a well-fed member of the bourgeoisie to say.
    Tiresome and trite.

Even his accent is privileged. Watts never missed a meal in his life that was not of his own volition. I doubt that he ever worried where the rent was coming from, or how to put food on the table.

Thanks Polit! And yes, he most likely never struggled with these things you speak of, however, like all philosophers have the rare ability to capture the attention of audiences with their insightful "play of words" and metaphors! Some enjoy his unique style and some don't, and that's ok...We all have different interpretations of people's dialogue!!

Privilege or poverty has little to do with mental illness, or enlightenment and lack there of. The rich tend to have the longest road to enlightenment and more often than not are the the least likely to reach a state of inner riches than those lesser privileged. Why so hateful? lol

@@Cosmic_Giant That's something a plutocrat would say. I don't think a person who lived a sheltered and pampered life is really in a position to tell anyone about "Trusting the Universe" - since the "Universe" has obviously treated him and his kin far better than, say, a refugee from 80 years of Xionist violence.
It's easy for someone like Watts to preach this ideology, because the universe didn't really throw much at him by way of actual challenges.
Let him struggle to pay the rent, to find gainful employment, and to feed a hungry child before lecturing about the inherent benevolence of a cold and uncaring universe.

@@Polit_Burro why would a plutocrat place emphasis on inner riches? Inner peace is worth far more than wealth. Get a grip and stop being a hater lol
