It is easy to tell people to vote. What is missing is the "Hope" part. How do we as the voters who still believe in a democratic way of resolving issues going to convince the 55% of our people who has lost hope in South Africa to believe that their voice will make a difference this time? Who will help them because these are the people of our society who are the discouraged workers and the entrepreneurs who has been trying to build a small business and are constantly been scammed and forced into bribes to survive. These are the people who has lost one, two or even more loved ones to crime. Who are constantly been bombarded with false promises. These are the people who has given up on South Africa. No, you cannot convince them to vote... Only God. Through getting back to God we as South Africans will be able to solve our complex problems and black hearts. And I do not mean the colour of a person's skins. I mean a black heart controlled by a depressed mind which is growing more and more angrier by the day. Our "Hope" now is to convince people to get back to God and allow Him in their hearts. The only way to get these 55% of people to believe again in our democracy is to open their hearts. The poor persons politics is just a plate of food and glass of clean water and a safe place to sleep tonight. As soon as we can start taking in consideration the poor persons politics, that is when you have the "right" to ask them for their vote and it is there right to provide you with that privilege of their voice and vote! Remember you can only earn the privilege of a poor person's voice after showing them you really care.
@ Melanie Capazorio The youth of SA are finally starting to realise that their vote can change SA for the better! Have you seen the overwhelmingly positive response of young people to Mac G's Podcast with John Steenhuisen on RUclips? ( see the comments)

Just wish we had intelligent voters. Let's face it the voters have kept anc in power for 28 years. Even after the guptas, after 14 years of loadshedding, after anc has destroyed all the soe's, imagine if the voters grow some brains for once. As for Herman mashabe in particular he is a flip flop, first he loves da coalition then he hates it then he loves it. He just wants power nothing else. Caae and point today he sided with the anc to appoint an anc speaker to attempt to unseat the mayor in jhb. He is nothing but a snake. But it's all up to the voters. If I base this off history, good luck sa we're going to need it as the voters never ever learn
Critical mass counts. The critical mass in South Africa says they are happy, they have a house, they have a pension, they have found happiness. They do not have to work, show up for anything, just live happily in a Marxist utopia. Any political party who want to get their vote must create another utopia, one that will convince the current critical mass to change their vote. First of all, we are told to vote, what for? No hope nothing inspiring, just the same old shit. The speakers talk in a language beyond the understanding of the uninformed and critical mass person. They assume a broad understanding of history and economics. The current leaders have no understanding how to capture the mind of the critical mass. They have no understanding of their plight, poverty, expectations, and how to mould these personal experiences that will create hope and life outside the village created by the ANC. The critical mass is mentally, morally and emotionally captured in the ANC village. If you want to be an inspiration political leader you better build an alternative village that will inspire people to abandon the ANC village. Marx told us how to do it. Materialism and the illusion that life is fair, everyone has an equal change and that the ANC village is nothing but a location where the ANC grow voters, not people with hearts and expectations. All politicians have the same message, look at how bad the ANC is, vote for me I will be better. Really, I have not yet seen a politician that can inspire anything, some have a very big lack of inspiration themselves. I have not seen any ideas that will inspire anybody to work and invest. Everyone seems to aim for a lover level of mediocrity. South Africa is in a very sad state, mentally, physically and emotionally. We need to find something inspirational, like the rainbow nation in a village.
What is good for the country and for the generations to come? This should be the most important question.
The lady asking the long winded question. South Africans must rise up and protest. Protest !
There are some brilliant young people involved in politics.
Remember, this country belongs to the people not to the governing party.
I agree with Athol. When people don’t vote or vote ANC and then bad service delivery follows, they have themselves to blame.
"You need to vote" that is it. Thats all we need.
yes. just vote harder and all our problems go away.
It is easy to tell people to vote. What is missing is the "Hope" part.

Yes true but do enough people care

@@tonitappous2422 That is good news. I love South Africa and really would like to see that it grows instead of what it currently is.
But when do we vote. 2024 is way to far away.

cyril's comment before the previous election. "you should vote anc or eskom might never get fixed" I understand now he actually meant it as a threat.
He's passive aggressive that's why it didn't raise any alarms.
Solution is #VoetsekANC
Helen Zille is a master of politics. Pure genius. 🤙
Voters are not powerless. Voters must rise up !
No the power is in who cheap and dont care about law!

Another long winded question. 🙄
