Been looking at this radio for some time. Every time I fold enough cash something comes up. Thing is I don't need another HT. But damn this thing is hot ! analog/DMR and SAT. If they iron the bugs out of the newest firmware this would probably be my goto radio. We have an ever growing DMR club in the local. More than a few repeaters and new ones populating on a regular. Would love to start doing satellite!
I have the GPS co ordinates, UTC and all things set correctly, but the satellite data is not correct when downloaded. I am certain this release is just a bit of a demo as to what it will soon become....It is not ready as it stands for the 878. IMHO.
My biggest issue is utc on phone versus upc on radio does not compare. Phone will show a pass coming up but radio is behind by as much as 20 minutes or more.

Something is wrong with this software in my opinion. Using on an 878, the satellite data does not work correctly.
