The world of believers were given the Holy Spirit to have God's power to imitate or live as Jesus/God taught us through the words/truths of God. Jesus added one extra commandment to the Ten commandments given to Moses by God. He asked us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. God is capable of loving all of us the same and forgiving our sinful nature. This seems impossible at times but it is necessary to give sin to God to deal with so we can free our hearts and not be destroyed by it. So we can live in peace.

If you read the book of Revelation properly and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth and be willing to throw out all the beliefs you have that are wrong, you would not think about going through the tribulation since it was 2000 years and not in our future.
