Excellent podcast!! I appreciate the discussion that encourages us to continually thrist for and meditate on God's Word. Such as, the rich metaphors we can see in nature to dig deeper and remind us of God. I thank God for the encouraging words of sharing more about how awesome He is and God bless!

Thanks for this podcast. I follow your channel for your Bible study tips but I'm also a special needs parent. As soon as he mentioned his book The Life We Never Expected, I went to Amazon and ordered it. I'm also going through an unexpected divorce and struggling with that so I am hoping to find encouragement for that as well. It helped to hear that others who read the book had gone through other things like divorce and it resonated with them.
That’s cool, I was at university with him. We did a bible study at church vaguely based on this book nearly two years ago.

Can you recommend a good, inexpensive commentary Bible/book
I read this book a chapter at a time over a couple months, to give myself time to think about it. Thanks for sharing this interview. The speed of reading resonates with me so much. I have both these experiences. I agree that reading the Bible at medium speed does not work. It has to be fast or be slow. I have failed at reading the Bible in a year 45 times, based on my current age and when I met Jesus

Thanks for introducing this book, I'm really enjoying it and look forward to following Andrew around the web. You've mentioned several times that women's bible studies aren't on par with mens. This was surprising to hear and has answered some questions for me. I'm Catholic, and our bible studies are not gender specific. They are very meaty, drawing from a variety of commentaries and the writings of the early church fathers. I belonged to a non-denominational women's bible study and found the material very fluffy. I didn't realize that we were getting something different from the men's group. How odd.
