Please note: this video was shot back in 2021 since this is the best footage of the Lilly Belle I have. The Lilly Belle is usually too full of people otherwise. Enjoy the Video! What are your thoughts on the Rivers of America being replaced by the NEW Villans Land and Cars Land areas?
Move it in the back. I’m a huge cars fan and land in Disneyworld looks cool. But why not copy how Galaxy edge at Disneyland is in the back and it didn’t remove rivers of America entirely.
But… but… I loved going in the Magic Kingdom hearing the bells and the whistles of the boat. Now I guess I’m gonna hear cars zooming which is absolutely degrading.
Seeing Splash Mountain in the tree line, the original country bears all whilst riding along on the boat in this video is way too sad. What have they done to this once great park? 😢
Thank you so much for sharing this. This brings back a lot of memories. It's so sad that Disney has chosen to replace the classic experiences with something from their movies.
I'm glad videos like this exist as it'll save me the trouble of ever having to go to WDW again. The best parts preserved and I can "virtually" ride them any time I want. 👍
RIP Tom Sawyer’s Island, Liberty Belle and Rivers of America. I’m so sorry that corporate greed and corruption within Disney will erase you forever. Farewell ❤
Disney leave rivers of America alone place that cars land in Tokyo Disneysea or somewhere but do not take it away from mk is the important part of the park!
Carsland should be put in the back and shouldn’t be removing rivers of America. I haven’t been to WDW and would love to see their version of rivers of America as I’ve been to Disneyland’s.
I'm at least glad I was able to ride it the last time I went, but it honestly is more barren than Disneylands. Once you turn that bend past thunder mountain, it's all just trees after that. Maybe one native American village. And some views of Tom Sawyers island.

Screw Disney, really, screw the company that destroys this. Screw the company that strives for profit over scenic beauty. Screw the idea that SOME pieces are not untouchable. Screw the philosophy that because Disney said his parks aren't museums, you can get rid of the original mission statement and legacy that made the park as beloved as it has come to be. Screw Bob Iger. I know I won't be the only person who won't ever be coming back. No Splash Mountain, no Riverboat, hundreds of classic attractions being removed for a CARS ride???
And you know that IP's date the rides so that most expire by the time they're built unless Disney churns out multiple sequels. A riverboat is timeless, nostalgic and elegant, compared to cars with eyes and catchphrases.
@@ItzAdrian02The Disney company is slandering Disney's own words to justify a quick demolition of everything that made the park worthy of his name. There's a difference between renovation and destruction. Walt Disney World is on a property larger than Manhattan Island. They have the option to expand the Magic Kingdom past the berms of the park unlike at Disneyland. Instead they are actively removing a ride that added charm to the land. Disney would be turning in his grave. He might not have lived to see this parks' construction, but his brother had it built as a loving tribute. The replacement of truly original attractions with IP's of little substance is a disaster in planning. Walt is the only factor of the park that I respect now. Him and his associated Imagineers.
I agree 100% word-for-word. (Especially since that dumb "Cars" movie wasn't even all that great. It was just OK, mediocre, nothing more & will probably be forgotten altogether in another few years...)
Just another in a long line of abysmally *STUPID* decisions by current Disney management.... Closing up & wiping away a half-century-old iconic attraction, personally designed by Disney himself no less, in favor of a 'land' devoted to a mediocre _(very_ mediocre) movie that is already passe' & will probably be forgotten altogether in about 5 more years. Yeah, brilliant movie, Iger!
Not everything needs to be an IP E Ticket, sometimes its great to just kick back and enjoy the scenery. Cars Land does not belong in Frontierland and they should not pave over the Rivers of America
@@nicolasjleclercq821 exactly, there's plenty more space both in the Magic Kingdom and the entire Bay Lake property that would be more suited to a Cars area

I think it sucks, but I'm an old-timer. Lots of memories of Walt Disney World in the 1970's. Maybe the new fans will love it. It's not for me.

watching the paddlewheel go past the mansion

So your sating screw Walt Disney who said the parks would never be completed as long as there imagination left in the world.

I mean not every ride or attraction needs to have flashing lights and high speed to keep your attention. Sometimes ones like this are ok and needed.
