@MILITARY SURPLUS CARBINE COLLECTOR I found an IBM like that once at a gunshow. It has an auto ordinance sub contracted receiver. And all the early features. The only thing, not IBM, was the high wood I cut winchester stock snagged it for 900 beans.
Man that is a GREAT find! Love the Carbines, had to let go of a Winchester recently but I have the Inland my dad got for me as a kid. Just such a great little shooting gun.
NICE ! 👍 I have an Underwood that I bought from the wife of a friend who passed away a few years ago. Love that rifle. I believe it’s stamped 1944. Haven’t taken it apart to see have much of it is still Underwood I’m not as knowledgeable as you sir. Still a good shooter.
Howdy GUS .. The M1 carbine just the greatest ww2 rifle..and so collectable. Take it apart and give it the look see and clean it up. OK thanks for watching and i subed ya too.
There's a Springfield 1903 for sale at my local gun store. It looks in perfect shape. I might buy it because Army Rangers and other types of commando units used them in WWII.
Hi Mark you know the CMP has the 1903 for sale right now thecmp.org/sales-and-service/m1903-m1903a3-rifle-information/ . How much do they want for that one at your gun shop ? Is there an import mark on it ? The 03 is a must for collectors for sure. If its in really good shape and the price is right you cant go wrong. Thanks for watching and let me know how you did on that one. I subed ya too.
Nice find, I have 2 of these. One is a Quality Hardware, the other is a Standard Product, both manufactured in 1943. Love these weapons. American classic. I found these back in the 1980s.
Hey CRASH That underwood was totally original and like new almost. The guys up at the pawn shop sold it to me cheep they had know idea what they had there.. THANKS for watching.
Hey Richard ya i sold a M1 carbine way before i knew what i had. kinda like the guy that sold that UNDERWOOD that i found at the pawn shop. I really doubt if i will ever find one like that again. Thanks for watching.. I subed ya too.
Kyle hello ya the M1 carbine is a good shooter.. this one is the best i have all original found it at the local pawn shop.. i could not belive it. THANKS for watching !!
I can't find one because too many people are turning them into collectibles. My father taught me to shoot with his m1, he had to sell it (along with most of everything else he had) when he found out he had ALS. Now I am trying to find any m1 to plink and hunt with, as he did, and I can not for under 2500.
Josh you know NOW i see them on Gunbroker now.. there asking crazy prices.. but not selling. Now if you watch there are some selling for $1000 when they start at a low bid. gotta watch
Hey Warren .. the Universal carbine was made in 1960/1970 and for the value i am not sure. They dont bring as much as a ww2 carbine. I do see them on gun broker a lot.. check them out there. I subed ya too.
Hey Bruce you know M1 Carbines have skyrocked in the last 4 years. What i would do keep looking on gun broker and other sites and just keep watching for one the you want and the bids are low then jump on it. Looks like the starting price for an Inland carbine is $1200. Thanks for watching I subed ya too.
Awesome. Great find sir. Last 2 unreal finds for m1 carbine. 850 for an Underwood 11/43. And an inland paratrooper 10/43 for 1500. 👍👍💪💪 Shall not be infringed. Will not comply. 🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪🔥🔥
I have my dads carbine was his bring back barrel is 7-43 original underwood everything on the data sheet is underwood love this carbine serial number is third go figure March of 44
Hey John you know i think this Underwood might of been a bring back too. The only thing on this one was the extractor had been changed.. EVERY thing else was Underwood and the barrel was like new. UNREAL.. I will never find one like this one..but i will keep looking 😁sub ya too.
David hello OK looking at the stock again its a type 2 stock with the short barrel channel with the seral # it has it should be marked M-U P-U or LW And it is marked M-U as you see in the video. M-U is a MARLIN FIREARMS CO. mark and MARLIN FIREARMS CO. only built stocks for UNDERWOOD . As far as a high wood stock IDK. That is the original stock i am positive that it is, done and over. That stock does not even have a P in a circle at the grip... if the stock was a replacement it would have that P in a circle at the grip. Now i agree that the stock is in a great condition and one kinda wonders how it can be the condition after 75 years. David thanks for watching !!
David you know that stock SHOULD be a high wood stock.. but some were along the way it must have cracked right there or after the war it got cut down to a low wood stock. i can see right were the hand guard meets the stock its just not right when you look at it real close. thanks for watching !
@@Glockaholic91 Ricky you know that stock use to be a high wood.. but i bet it got cracked right there and was cut down by a army armorer after the war. when you look at it real close you can see were the cut was made back just a little bit farther than my other stocks. I might just make a nother video on that a clear that up.
