I have a Behringer BA 19A mic. It measures 3.75" (95mm) wide at it's widest point, so it should fit through a 4" port. Remember you will need phantom power to use this mic.
for me the behringer has more easier way to get a good sound, the SE is more controls and because of that is way easier to ruin the sound, but you can get really good sounds, the shure is for me, is the looser cause the sound is dull, not an impressive nor good sound, for a shure you can expect a better sound quality
I have the Behringer 19A and I love it. Sounds better than a Sure only $80. I set it and forget it. Killer bass drum sound every time.
