    This is a great video. It's really good to hear someone reviewing these drones who has experience of them yet remains impartial. You have really made it clear what to think about and how to make a start of how to choose and what to do next. Many thanks. Phil.

    Oh boy, you had to go there did you? Lol... Just kidding, great topic. I’m in the US. I’m a Part 107 certified drone pilot, and I fly drones for commercial purposes, construction progression documentation, etc... But with that being said, I just picked up my new Honda Rally a week ago! I love your channel and have been following you for 3 months before I bought my new bike.
    I love the creative aspect in which drones provide. I’m not a RUclipsr, but I’ve been thinking about posting a few videos , especially since I bought the new bike. First off, I want to say that the Air2S is by far my favorite drone of all. And I am comparing that to every drone on the consumer/prosumer market, including the new Mavic 3. Yes, I think the Air2S is a better drone for various reasons, and I believe it is the best bang for your buck whether you are a vloger, or you want to get into something like real estate photography/video, this drone will do it all, especially with the third party apps that you speak of. Litchi is one of those apps that is essential to my work flow, and I use it with my Phantoms, and Mavics.
    You have made a lot of valid points here, affordability, performance, portability , etc. But if you were to ask me which drone do I believe is the best for active tracking?? That would be hands down, the Skydio 2. Even though I believe that DJI has the technology to compete with Skidio’s active tracking abilities, they are just not ready to release it yet, due to marketing strategies... Greedy if you ask me. But, I need what they offer, so I fall victim to their strategy. But for the purposes of filming yourself on your motorcycle, you loose certain qualities like ease of transporting with the skydio vs a foldable drone. There is a RUclipsr with a motorcycle, I think it’s a Rally if memory serves me correctly, I can’t remember the name of his channel, but he uses the skydio, and you can just see for yourself, it appears to be cinema quality production
    So I have a question for you, and it is not motorcycle related, not today anyway. Lol, Since you are a RUclipsr, maybe you can clear this up for me... I was told that no matter which camera you choose to use to upload to RUclips, RUclips downgrades your image quality to 480 regardless. Do you know if this is true? I was also told that the viewer can go into their settings, on their devices, and change that to a higher resolution like 1080, 4K, etc., If their device is compatible... But most viewers are unaware of this and usually end up watching the videos in 480 anyway? Do you have any insight on this?
    Being familiar with professional camera equipment, I do know that you can purchase a very nice, expensive, camera that shoots in 4K, and you can buy a cheap, inexpensive camera that shoots in 4K, and 99.9% of the time, you will see a superior difference in the footage of the more expensive camera due to the quality of the parts, or materials used in the product, the glass, the sensor, etc. Just something to consider... Thanks for the videos! - Britt

      Hi Airada, Great to have you along for the ride! I'm really pleased you're enjoying the channel, I understand the CRF is a very popular little bike in the USA 😎. Yep, like you I'm a slave to DJI for many of their features, but I also like the Skydio 2. We have a friend that uses one and it really is excellent, although limited if you want the more artistic shots. It's all about comprise 🤷🏻‍♂️. As for 4k, it's a really hard one to answer, as there are so many factors. I don't believe youtube downgrades it, as I watch videos on a 4k screen and it appears to be the right resolution. Large amounts of viewers watch on phones nowadays, and so the tech in the screen is perhaps the greatest factor. As always dude, ride safe 👊🏻😎

    Great vid as always Mark. One thing to note with the sub 250g drones is that if you add something to it, like the stickers you have, it may take it over the golden sub 250g and you are then subject to the rest of the rules. I’ve got the mini and Mavic Air V1. The latter active tracks too.

      You're absolutely right of course Cark! I weighed mine for the vid and it came out at 247g weirdly 🤷🏻‍♂️. The accuracy of the scales is always a factor of course. Having the A2CofC, I'm not overly concerned, given where I fly, but it is certainly worth a mention 😎

    Mini1 and Mini2 don't have ANY avoidance sensors, and never have had, not 2 as stated in the video at 5min42secs. The holes shown in the video when talking about sensors for the Mini1 are not sensors. Easy to check and confirm in the specs on the DJI Website. Just pointing out this in case someone uses this video as a reason to buy a mini1 or 2 over the mini3 thinking it has avoidance sensors

    Definitely enjoy using my mini with a third party app. The tracking function is based on GPS rather than any image tracking, but as you say for to be very careful about surroundings and people.

      It's got some great reviews as a work around Carl. if i didn't already have the Air2S I'd definitely download it 👍🏻

    May be in UK are other laws. But in EU a drone below (!) 250 gr with a camera installed is also restricted where to fly! The restriction comes with the camera. in the law it is named "biometrical sensor"

      @lightweightadv  2 года назад

      Hmm, that's interesting. The laws in UK are somewhat more complex than they first appear, but a sub 250g drone is very easy to fly most places in UK 😎

    Skydio 2+ by far.... What a shame thy shut down consumer drones 😊
