Bullbars from 5600 models fit tightly on the W218H. My case got damaged from installing it, turns out the quickest and safest way to put it on is you stretch it sidewaya first before installing. Dont worry if it is not aligned as long as it seats properly on the case. Use a smooth surfaced material to leverage it and push it into correct alignment.
I had a three hander quartz watch that I bought when I was in sixth grade that came with a bull bar on it. I would definitely buy another one if I could find it that was one of my favorite watches when I was younger it’s probably one of the watches that stirred my interest.It had to be somewhere around circa 1985 Everybody was always commenting on that watch because of the Bull bar. I had that watch with the same battery until I was 30 years old in 1999 the log that held the spring bar in and one of them actually broke I was using it as a pocket watch. I was using it to time The unloading process on some train cars I was unloading all the conveyor belt I left the watch out overnight it got down below freezing and it rained and that was it for the watch it was done I wish I had a model number to go by but I wouldn’t know It if I saw it
The problem appears to be that there are four diagonal slots on the case between the black dots and the bull bars should sit in the slots🤔 after writing this I tried to find pictures of the watch with bull bars fitted and they all seem to have the bulbar resting on highest and lowest set of pips. This seems to me as sloppy design as the slots appear perfect to hold the bars in place or am I missing something?
I bought the watch but what bull bar did you have here. There are a lot of bull bars but I can’t find one for this w 218 is it the dw5600 bull bar that you put on here? Thanks
Thanks for posting. I picked up the watch yesterday. Bull bars are on order (along with a NATO strap because the one that's on there may look cool, but it's uncomfortable AF).
I swear a load of watches used to come with these bars on and I used to just take them off - I never really knew what the point of them was and I didn’t like the look of them 😂
I don't know about W-218H, but 5600 bullbar fits on AE-1200/1300, although the fit is very tight. I got one on my AE-1300 and I think it won't come off without damaging the case or screen glass. Luckily, you can still unscrew and remove the back plate no problem.
It looks like the W-218 can be had for $17 right now which is a bargain but I'd still just spend $50 for the basic DW5600 G-shock if that's an option and if the tough solar GWM-5610 G-shock is on sale for $129, well you might as well go for that one and then... Well if I keep going I'll just talk myself into buying a $1500 GMW-B5000TVB virtual armor titanium G-shock with a diamond like coating... Actually, yeah. That thing looks awesome. Be right back...

The slightly crooked horizontal bars would drive me crazy. Have you tried to push the right side up to make them seat square?
Yes it's easy to adjust. Things look different from behind the camera. It's all lined up nicely 👌

They are actually designed for gshock models, so they fit these a bit differently. It does rest at the edge of the upper and lower dots on the case.
