Paraguay is getting crazy overrated now. They got grouped in copa america several months ago and were trash all qualifiers up until 6 games ago. They’re top 3 because of 6 games ? Alot of teams get boosts when they get a new coach. Remember when Venezuela was going crazy in the beginning of the qualifiers and now they’re back to where they’ve always been
I think they've been solid defensively all qualifiers as shown by their least goals conceded record. Their previous coach didn't even try to get the best players on the field or play any attacking football. I didn't expect them to be 3rd and fourth in this ranking but they're hot right now and they have the talent and tactics to keep improving.
Don't hate on Paraguay they drew 3 really hard away fixtures to Uruguay (where they could've won) Ecuador and Bolivia (Bolivia was lucky to escape with a draw) whilst winning their home fixtures Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina, they played really well at home against the aforementioned and outclassing Brazil and Argentina is no small feat.

@bmr209 , Actually the Friendly in which Canada dominated play vs the U.S. meant a lot to both teams, as the U.S. wanted to prove itself after an embarrassing performance at the Copa Americas.
Unfortunately a bad list. But it’s okay. The list will be dismantled once we get further results.
Brazil is definitely number 2
USMNT does not deserve the 7th spot if you are unbiased and consider their recent performance and results. Even though they dominated the Concacaf Nation’s league, still their recent results would not justify the 7th spot.
