Dear all, as promised here is the continuation of footage further to the earlier scenic inspiration video. Hope you enjoy the video! If you do please give it a thumbs up! All the best, layout update coming soon! Regards, Paul
Hi mate, many thanks for watching and commenting and glad you enjoyed the video. Yes the lighting was great that evening, have previously been during the afternoon but it certainly adds a bit with the nice sunset. Thanks again and all the best, Paul
Thanks John, glad you enjoyed it mate and thanks for commenting. Will be great to get some trains running on it. Thinking about building a means of running trains in a continuous circuit so that I can keep running as the builds develop! All the best and thanks again, Paul
Hi Simon, thanks for watching and commenting mate and really appreciate the feedback. Yes I’d heard that before and makes perfect sense when you look at them front on. I was initially going to model just the 80’s 90’s period but after watching them and hearing them at Peak Forest I got myself hooked and now I really like the many different liveries! All the best mate, Paul
Thanks Neil, glad you enjoyed it mate, no unfortunately not the rare beast! Had to make do with the 66s and the 56 doing very little really! All the best mate, Paul
Hi Paul just binge watched your last 2 inspirational videos back to back very good mate. However I think you'll need to get a freightliner 66 as well lol. Some great shots and something to replicate on your layout cheers Andy
Hi Andy, thanks for watching and commenting mate, really appreciated and thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed them and thanks for putting ideas in my head about the Freightliner! There are just so many great liveries out there it can be hard to decide can’t it! All the best mate and looking forward to the next Moorland instalment, Paul
Fabulous Paul!! it was an earlier video of yours that inspired me to do a video of "the real thing" being filmed which you kindly gave permission for...its fascinating to watch this location for me and to see the 66's up close...i always take an interest in names too...so....The Pavior was named by GBRf in honour of The Worshipful Company of Paviors who were responsible for the pavements of the City of London...its modern membership includes the leaders of construction in the UK......great stuff Paul 👍 take care, dave
Hi Dave, thanks for watching and commenting mate and glad you enjoyed it, yes remember it well, thanks for sharing the footage and glad it came in useful. Really interesting history about the name too. Always great to hear the background history of some of these fantastic names. Great stuff, thanks again mate and all the best, Paul
Hi Peter, many thanks for watching and commenting mate, really appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoyed it. Yes it’s a great location and well worth a visit, yes you are right, there used to be two of them too but not sure where the other is hiding! All the best and thanks again, Paul
Hi Carl, many thanks for watching and commenting mate and of course for the fantastic feedback, really appreciate that. Thanks, it’s all filmed on an iPhone 11 Pro. Really happy with it as think my old one was a 5s so quite a bit of difference! All the best mate and thanks again, Paul
Hi mate, many thanks for watching and commenting, really appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoyed it mate. Yes it’s there all the time and there used to be two of them 56s I think, but have not seen the other for a while. Have seen them struggle somewhat with full trains when on their own. All the best and thanks again, Paul
@@UKRailsandMore you're most welcome mate. It's enjoyable to see. Any chance you could get a view from further down the line, where the locos run round and load the stone? That'd be great !
Hi Mate, many thanks for watching and commenting and glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback. Will look into that on the next visit mate, there are a few more vantage points yes, you can see where they load the stone manually but don’t think there are any views of where the stone is loaded by conveyor. There are also some other views at the other end. All the best mate, Paul
Hi Ollie, thanks for watching and commenting mate, really appreciated and glad you enjoyed it. They are through lines mate that lead on to a further quarry called Tunstead quarry. I believe most trains that service Tunstead, both empties and full come back through Peak Forest where I filmed which is a bonus, but they also have an option to carry on along the line from Tunstead which then loops around onto the Wye Valley (as you can see on the aerial photos) and that line goes back to Buxton. Really interesting location mate, if you have a look at all the lines on google Earth it can be a bit hard to follow! All the best and thanks again, Paul
Yes it is now mate but back in the day it used to be a passenger line also. That said I believe they have had a few specials on the last few years which would be brilliant to travel on. Think there may even be some footage on RUclips from one of them but not seen it for a while. All the best, Paul

Lovely views over peak forest there with the sun setting.

Enjoyed that Paul, looking forward to your representation mate, cheers John

Very nice video Paul, I have a couple of Class 66 locos and love them, I think they are also call Sheds because of the shape of them...Simon

Great to see the 66's for real , seems a popular spot with others as well . Was that a 56 stationary with the red wagons ? ..........Peter

Great to see freight trains, but must say I do not know what camera you are using, but the picture is amazing

Lovely to watch, like the commentary!
The class 57, I see that one a lot - is it their resident Shunter?

@@UKRailsandMore it's actually the manual loading of the stone that interests me more to be fair! Much more interesting!
Yes me too mate, will try and get a bit more footage of the loading next time, the road is quite a good vantage point for that, all the best, Paul
Is this like a terminal or are those through lines? Great clips! Ollie

UK Rails and More imma have to go here some time it looks awesome! Shame there’s rarely a chance to ride a train through though. Ollie
