Excellent video. You made your own decals and scribed your own panel lines. That is dedication. I remember as a kid in the early 80's I saw this kit in my Tamiya catalog.
Thanks for the added info about Capt. Button. I was living in Sedona AZ and was standing outside my work on Feb.9, 1985 in the morning when two A-10s flew into Oak Creek Canyon just north of Sedona. One A-10 crashed into the wall of the canyon killing the pilot. The they were on a low level training flight (in a rainstorm) flying from Williams Air Force Base to Davis -Monthan AFB. The pilot was identified as Capt. Stephen P. Bowden, of the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, S.C. Excellent job on the model & the paint job. Still have the AMT/ERTL A-10 Thundrerbolt II 'Action Series' kit waiting in the stash.

Hi Tye, you can use a scribe or a mini saw blade that will turn those panel lines into depressions instead of having raised panel lines on this A-10 kit. In this case, I used a Tamiya photo etch fine craft saw. You can lay a piece of plastic embossing tape used for lettering as a straight edge guide on the model. For part II of your question: If you look at step #9 on your instruction manual there is a better view of how C4 is supposed to sit on the landing gear parts, in particular the left man gear in this instance. Hope this all helps.
I had the pleasure of working on these jets and gun systems for 8 years at DM. I've spent my share of time on the wash rack washing that landing gear. Good times!
Hi jhuntosgarage, the A-10s are certainly a staple of almost daily sightings in southern Arizona. I remember as an avionics tech that it was hard on the knees working in the gear bays usually troubleshooting WOW switches or fuel indicator issues for my F-16s. It's still a great result! Looks fantastic.
Thanks James, I appreciate that!
Do you also make tank models? If you are ever into cartoony models too, check out “World War Toons” tank kits from Meng.
❤Great job... Nice story..
Thanks for watching, Marcel. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great build, great plane
Thanks Mark!
Awesome build!
Thanks 818116A!
Really good build on a not so good kit. The Hobby Boss A-10 is a very nice kit BTW. Excellent job on the video as well.
Thanks ScaleModelAlberta, keep 'em flying!

Can google translate do Cyrillic characters?
@Roman Penechko огромное спасибо !
Damn fine build. I built this exact same kit just a few months ago and had a hard time with its poor fitting. However, you made it look flawless anyway and it just shows how much I still have to learn.
Thanks Lee!
thats really nice
Thanks for the note Pillowcase :-)
You’re a damn fine modeler, no doubt about it. Your A-10 looks terrific! As for details and fit, the much older Tamiya kits pale in comparison to their newer stuff. Despite that, your skills made the model look the way it should. Thank you for sharing your build and your skills,
God speed
Thanks very much Michael 😊
You sir are quite welcome!
