thanks so much, I was able to put a Sony radio into my Trax with your guidance. The only difference I chose was I got rid of my accessory power adapter and put a USB lead into the remaining hole, and used the accessory power cable to power two extra USB ports (the original one in the glove box, and an extra one for a future dash cam)

I have a new radio coming for my 2015 trax. What wires are for the factory backup camera? In the instructions from Crutchfield it doesn’t show.

I am installing a Kenwood radio and it has a light green parking switch wire coming off the back of the radio. Should I connect it to the light green of the PAC harness or ground the light green of the PAC harness and not use the wire on the radio? Thanks

Please help!!!!Ok I have a 2018 trax and my radio and camera quit working all of a sudden. The radio won't play and the screen turned a funky green color so took it to a shop to get fixed. They have now put in 3 new radios 1 wouldn't work at all and 2 worked for a few minutes and then right back to the same thing. Any idea what's going wrong?!?! I need my car back asap and they have even consulted another mechanic and no answers.

Soo dumb question. You had to put a new frame in bc the new radio wasn’t compatible with the old one correct ? Is there a radio you could use where you wouldn’t have to do all that just unplug old and plug new one in ?

My only question is why didn't you use the built in microphones in the car?

Because since the new screen is from a different brand, the old built in microphone now is not compatible with it. !

Next time we will go out of our way to make sure that all the factory pieces that come are not damaged in any way just to make sure you're happy. It's a shame that these vehicles come already with a ton of issues but for your RUclips benefit we will make sure that every vehicle is 100% perfect before we touch it. That way we don't have to tell people the truth that vehicles don't come with issues. I'm not sure of the fantasy land RUclips world that you live in but we tell people exactly the correct information so they know before they break things or damage things because they are fragile from the factory. Heaven forbid anybody who is done thousands of installs have something break because it is extremely fragile from the factory. That's why we make these videos as to let people know so they don't damage things or have issues because they don't know about the defects from the factory or issues. Thank you for your valuable input we will definitely use it for future videos to make sure that everything is 100% perfect to your liking. That's why we do RUclips is to make sure that you are extremely happy and nobody else
