    There’s this thing I really like to sort out my tasks : I draw a table with 4 cases, one with “important but not urgent” tasks, “urgent but not important” tasks, “important & urgent” and “not important & not urgent” tasks ! It really helps me not feeling guilty about not completing everything but doing what is needed at the moment and doing it right 😊☺️

      @The Joker ahh i have an exam tomorrow too (maths)!! i didn't really get a lot of studying time because my teacher told us so late... but its okay! we can just try out best in the remaining time we have, and unnecessary stress won't do anything :) i hope we both do excellent!!

    Hi Faye, u are literally the best, last time i got a 30/40 in my chemistry exam but now i got 35/40 because of u and i am quite happy for the improvement but i think i could do way better next time, but this isnt the case with other subjects. I always get like a 5-10 wrong answer difference in my tests and that makes me disappointed. Do u have any tips?

      Hi there! I see you are from south India by looking at your name .Regardless ,for the question you have asked in the comments I have an answer for.
      From experience, the last time I got 28/40 in a subject nd this time I got 40/40 after doing some work on it .
      To me, these things work out:
      # Study without taking breaks in a short period of time.
      # take reference from the internet but remember, the content in our textbooks are way more important than any other sources .Be sure and thorough with every single line in your textbook

    i was having a really bad time during this semester and my marks dropped a LOT and ive been trying to push myself to the edge and be productive but i always end up breaking down and feeling more terrible.     I am literally less productive when I’m stressed. Like I would get constant mental breakdowns when I stressed. This led me to a lot of therapy sessions in school before this. But now thanks to your advices and all I managed to manage my time through everything and I feel great 😊

    1. The night before
    - Write down everything need to be done tomorrow and ask yourself one question: " Which task, if completed, would make me happy" and just focused on finishing this ONE TASK tomorrow.
    2. The next day
    - After completing that ONE TASK you decided to concetrate on the previous night, you are allowed to rest and reward yourself for anything you like. If you want to study further, treat them as a bonus for the day -> reduce a lot of stress.
    - Then, consider doing the tasks that take you merely 5 to 10 minutes. It can be writing emails, cleaning ur desk, reviewing notes etc ( trust me, it's really intimidating not to complete those "little" tasks, so do them at once asap, and you can devoted more time and effort for other important tasks and not worried about them anymore:)
    3. The ideal time to wake up?
    - Anytime. Doing things with intentionally. For example, when you wake up, you will know exactly what you are supposed to tackle today. There's no point in waking up at 4 am and then don't know what to do next. Make a habit of writing down every single thing you need to complete and prioritize them the NIGHT BEFORE.
    4. Choose ur favourite study spot
    5. Have a pre-study routine.
    6. Time management tip: Time blocking
    7. Time management tip: Set an end time

    Hey faye, I just want to say, thank you so much for taking time out your cramped days to make these videos. This is the only channel I watch for study motivation and you help a lot :) You see, I’m in my senior year of high school right now and after 7+ hours at school and tution every other day, I feel so out of myself, I don’t know how to explain. In those times, it feels lilke there’s nothing that comforts me, and I can only lay in bed hoping it all goes away so I can give my best again. This is really not the maximum I can take I’ll tell myself, ‘this is not my limit’, I could do so much better, if only my surroundings better supported me. I hope better times are coming my way to bring some spirit back in me again. Until then, I’ll be visiting these videos every now and then

    Hi Faye!! 💕I'm the one who has less productive when stressed. Thanks, Faye for this video. It's really helping me a lot. I prefer to pay a visit to the sea🌊when I am stressed out looking at the coconut trees fluttering in the wind, rolls of waves coming oncoming, slapping the shore hard, looking up and seeing the blue sky with white clouds like "marshmallows" which makes me feel extremely comfortable.😌

    Hi faye, thank you so much for the new video, btw I have to redo my A/l and I haven't gone for any classes for six months, basically I was doing nothing six months and now that the results are over my mom is pressuring me to do it again within 3 months. HELP ME FAY!!!E🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺I DUNNO WHERE TO START and I almost forgot alot, I did Economisc, Accounting and ICT and accounting is the worst and hardest bot to mention that these aren't my most favourite subjects but besides accounting others are bearable 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

    I have physics exam on Tuesday (in two days), the syllabus is huge . i feel as if i haven't studied anything even after completing 3 chapters . i feel as if i'll fail , I've never failed before . i feel anxious . i could revise less because of health issues and now i feel as if the entire world is crumbling down .     My takeaways and a lil summary of this vid but i might've missed some points so watch the full video... the whole video every point however is important which is in my takeway soo
    Your study routine starts the night before,
    While making to do list ask yourself this-
    Which task, if completed, would make me happy?? The kicker is you can only pic one task... You can't go all if I completed all my lectures, I'd be happy. NO! AVOID THIS! .
    Whatever task u decided, u're gonna do it next day.. anytime but get it done. You're done? Go celebrate or rest.
    After completing that task, write down what tasks you can complete in five to ten minutes.
    Make sure those tasks doesn't amount to 1 hour or more....we just want to get these small task done so that we don't have so many things cluttering our minds.
    Just in a hour or two you'll get all these things done; 👍 super worth it ✅
    What time you wake up-doesnt matter.
    The catch is you've to pick the time u wake up - there's no point in waking up at 8am only to laze around till 12 pm and then feel bad or guilty about it.
    If you know only deep down that you're gonna get out of bed at 12pm then plan your day around that time.
    The most important thing is to do things with intention. Don't unintentionally get up at 12pm.
    Have a mindset the night before that you're gonna wake up at noon and have a productive day afterwards.
    It's the feeling of waking up with intention and with the purpose of being productive that feels so empowering and motivating. It shouldn't be 4am necessarily it could be any time. The idea behind that is to wake up with intention.
    Now you've wake up. Ha ha, traveling ka time bhi lagega. Go to ur fav study spot.
    If you don't have a study spot, maybe have a pre study routine ..(could be anything like nap or cooking urself sth). Basically you want to get into the right state of mind before going into battle.
    So after an hour or two of ur slow getting rountine , you've arrived at ur study spot and it's time to study
    Here's a time management tip for u:- time blocking (it makes sure you're not doing too much or too little)... it's all about needing to make decisions all the time. Predictability=less anxious
    Set an end time instead of a start time. It literally foces you to be disciplined.

    Like I have 8 hours of school

    I'm a 14 year old girl living in India studying in grade 8
    From your perspective, how long should i study (in hours) also I've been struggling with my mental health lately and trying to tell myself that it's okay to take a break. I can be a preety productive person but i just want to know how much you think is enough for me to study as an 8th grade student.

    I have found that for myself at least when I am stressed,,, I suddenly start doing all the work which was pending for so long but.... Being productive at this point only happens when I have to do some written work or somethi'n with learning new things , lectures, exams this don't really help 🙂😅

    When i feel that there is a lot of tasks i haven't completed it gets overwhelming for me to even look at the work and i end up procrastinating the whole time and have a mental breakdown thinking how perfectly my friends might be using there time and i am here who cannot even manage her time.
    I am one of the top students in my class(not bragging) but still i struggle a lot.
    People think that my life is so easy and think that i am perfect but it's nothing like that i know how hard is to not compare yourself to others and cope up with this competitive world.
    My parents never compare me to other children and i am very thankful for that but me being me i cannot help but to cry over my small mistakes that most people wouldn't take as a mistake.
    If you're reading this let me tell you somthing that i do when i feel the world crashing i stand infront of the mirror and tell myself,
    IT'S OK TO NOT BE FINE. IT WILL BE OK. NOBODY IS PERFECT.

    Just finished my exam, and I thought I could rest for a few weeks, but I've been feeling guilty ALL THE TIME😭, and I'm looking forward to try using notion, it's seem pretty useful

    Sissy, I was having a breakdown since 3-4 hrs ago...feeling demotivated of studying and feeling too many side pressures coming up. My exams just got over but one more is coming up so I felt this emotional pain like never before but- when I saw your notification popping up in my phone, I immediately came in RUclips just to watch this.     I was originally working on a few assignments at a time that are all at lease a few days late (including a large essay that I’ve only halfway done😅). I have an awful habit of freaking out and rushing on assignments and getting tired halfway through and loosing my inertia from my phone or remembering another task, after that I start to run behind until it becomes a real problem(aka rn). I have over 10 big assignments and a couple projects past due. After school a go to my grandparents house and have tea for an hour, after, I go home and “give myself a breather” and wait a little while until I start homework. The cycle repeats daily and tell myself every day that today will be different, but it never is. There just aren’t enough hours in the day😢. Thank you so much for making these videos, I will try to fix it. Any tips???

    Thank you! My school haven't finalized anything yet so I haven't encountered that much of assignments so far. But I felt so guilty that my classmates were advance studying so I did get into the warzone of Gen. Math this afternoon. But I only understand the five practice questions, but I didn't got the problem-solving one. Idk, I feel like I'm being left out but this feel like a reminder that I am not! Thank you very much!

    I loved your vedio.. it's amazing 😭Can you please upload a vedio on how to cope up with the studies when you can't choose what to study... I'm so depressed.. I'm a 12th grader and I literally wasted so much time on social media..my mid terms gonna start from 19th and I always suffer from the anxious feeling of what to study as I have to study so much..I always try to focus on one particular subject or topic at a time but every time my mind says that I have to study so much and I can't even focus...The biggest problem I'm suffering from is that I've not been able to remember what I studied bcoz of all these anxieties..plz give me a solution.. I'm very depressed😭

    Unnie only if you read this comment~ Is there any way I can talk with you like really? Not just for fun purposes but I'm having so much problem with my routines. Its not that I'm not productive I am, but it's just that I'm literally occupied by so many things that I couldn't get the time for self study.     Just yesterday night and today morning I was crying but I felt too guilty to watch RUclips but too stressed to study at the same time. So, I just lay in bed, basically depressed, thinking,” I’m at least giving my body some rest”. (Spoiler: I barely got any sleep and after I did sleep, I felt guilty for not studying at that time.)
    I was so relieved and happy when I saw your post on RUclips in the afternoon so I don’t stress cry again during the next exam.

    Could you please suggest , How can a student manage to keep up his spirits and morale, And Concentrate on studies, When Placed in a completely new environment in a college abroad, or a new country, where they don't know places to travel to, roads there, food habits are new, routine completely changes, No Mom To take care of ur health needs, No friends or difficulty assimilating with new people(of course even people from other countries , who may not understand ur culture), Social fear, Overload of work , etc.
    Cos Like when we used to live with our families in our own countries , We were so dependent that mom used to take care we don't skip mrals, our rooms r clean, also u were familiar with places arnd you like you may feel, a park nearby ur locality as a place comfortable for you to study and get motivated, etc. It's difficult to adjust in a new country, it can lower your confidence and hence affect your study results????How to deal with it, I mean How An Introvert or Homesick person Manage Studying in a new environment?

    Sometimes I wake up late.Like I usually wake up at 4am but sometimes my eyes doesn’t open before 8 am.Than my whole day become a waste. I don’t feel productive at all.My brain is like you have already missed your pick hour so there won’t be any development today .Faye, can you make a video with this kind of solution?

    Actually I was very stressed right now .....bcz due to some issues I cannot attend my classes properly....I have to watch every thing through online..... really takes half of the day to watch two videos...... really I cannot focus continuously.....but thanks for the tips 😊

    iam very less productive and now iam super super anxious I have anxiety tho my parents always wanting the perfect they don't care about you they care abt your grades your study have if I finished half my homework they going to say why you didn't finish all of it they always High their expectations to much all the time and they put alla the pressure on me it's so stressful and tiring
