It's more to do with youtube processing the video. I uploaded this video at 4k and youtube wouldn't process it. It seems like there are certain boundaries where youtube just refuses to process videos. For example, i can't get get youtube to process a video longer than 24 hours at 4K 60FPS, i've got it to work once (My ff7 remake hard mode video) but never again. And i think 48 hours is the limit for 60fps videos at any resolution although i haven't tested it a lot, i just remember my Elden Ring video being a pain. The max file size for videos is now 256GB so i can make the quality passable on these long videos
Now that i know i can upload dumb long videos like this, i'd like to go through The Witcher 3 with all main and side quests, as well as Assassins Creed Odyssey at 100%

Time to increase that number. fr though i love your longplays. they're both relaxing in the right times and entertaining every other time and genuinely i couldn't ask for much better - plus it comes with the added benefit of baffling my friends because they can't sit through any longer than ~3 hours! lol

Wow!!! I was really surprised when they showed Lyonel who was boss during the Shock Arrow collection job!!! To be completely honest, I thought this person was a noob with the way they had been running away from enemies and not cooking well and holding their gems instead of selling them but WOW! Nice job! When I fought my first Lyonel I thought they were invincible until I caught onto their attack pattern like the other large enemies such as the Guardians that are a pushover. Even now I think the Lyonels were the toughest enemies in the entire game. All of the Gannons were easy with everything else mostly! This is such an excellent play-through of 5 days, 1 hour, 28 minutes and 38 seconds!!! EXCELLENT JOB!!! Would love to see your Tears of the Kingdom 100% play! I would really love to see you do one for Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4 with the best ending possible with full Intelligence, Science and Repair!!!!! Along with Charisma!!!
With how i structured this playthrough, i was severely under leveled for most of the game. So when i'm running away from enemies, it's because those standard enemies will literally kill me in two hits dude
In Goron country now. It occurs to me that it would have been a very nice touch if Link had had to "fire treat" his paraglider before going into Goron country. Maybe one of the fairies could have provided this service. Enjoying this exhaustive walkthrough very much. Thanks for your efforts!
(There is a Request near the end, but no hard feelings upon a decline) So I just finished my first playthrough during Holiday 2023, and I literally would put this on after my own longplay sessions and go to sleep. Usually I would put on Family Guy, but BOTW is so relaxing, all I wanted was to watch Link as if he were his own person and learn from him. My first full playthrough would probably be longer than this one here because I'm such a Role Player. When it was time for me to eat, if I wasn't in the middle of a shrine or a Divine Beast, I would take Link home and to the table at his house while I ate and meditated on materials I need for equipment and Koroks to return to. I mess with the clothes way too much and I always go home and gear down when *I'm* ready for bed for the night. And I had Link walk. Like. . . A lot.. . . If he wasnt walking, he was riding ~Tilde~ the horse And let me tell you, the way ~Tilde~ became not just a tool but HER OWN Hero in my playthrough. . . The developers put SO MUCH into the horses. They have personalities and my heart would race whenever a Guardian would target us because I'm not worried about Link getting hit. . . I'm worried about protecting my horse. The developers created horses that you actually come to love and care for and mourn the loss of. In a modern world where we all dream of knowing what horses were like before so much captivity and overall disrespect for the poor creatures. . . BOTW is a game I can call A Horseman's Dream. And then. . . With the walking, comes all of the intake of all the scenery, and taking enough time to observe an NPC being attacked by Bokoblins. . . People who have said they've played this for 50 hours and it's a terrible game don't understand that this is quite a bit more than just a game. And there are some other things in my playthrough I won't share until I release a playthrough of my own that I can't discuss, because part of BOTW is that every player discovers their own play style. Where I can see where our play styles vary, I also see tremendous similarities that are separate from the basic "anybody can do this" mechanics. Watching your playstyle, my gamer spirit feels a sense of a bond with yours. And that kinda brings me back to the days of sharing my bedroom with my brother over the weekend while we played Ocarina of Time on the GameCube, the way my uncle and I played it on the 64. I'm nobody, but you have one of my highest honors and respects in gamer acknowledgement. Thanks for sharing this with us. Dare I ask if I could receive a "hardcopy" of this? Just in case RUclips goes down, ever. This video is quite the archive, Brother.
Didn’t see this in the comments or maybe I missed it, but: it seems like you missed some chests in The Great Plateau. If I remember right, there are 2 behind the waterfall in the cold region of that area. Didn’t see you go there, at least not in your initial combing of the area. Will keep watching to see if you go back and grab them.

Time to redo the whole thing again xD Jokes aside, I'm watching this walkthrough in its entirety (1/20th of the way in as I write this) because my laptop is too terrible for me to emulate games as heavy as this one (I'm saving for an actual computer but that will take some time and I lack patience lol) and because I managed to play almost the entire game once without everything fatally crashing (minus the Calamity Ganon battle and the Trial of the Sword (and most of the Koroks), but those are the very end of the game) (meaning the game doesn't lose its fun if I watch this now (if it was the other way around it would definitely lose its fun, if I played for the 1st time after watching this walkthrough)) so I already know pretty much everything that happens; so, why try to play the whole game again at like 0.5fps and take 6 months to reach the halfway point of the game (let alone actually finishing it) just for it to crash again near the end if I can just watch this instead and have more fun watch this at full speed than play at barely any speed; and I just want to say, kudos to you for making this, I love how you're playing the game so far, with no rushes and doing things methodically (all the main and side quests in the region at once, then all the shrines, then all the koroks, then all the chests, then all other stuff) and I love how you're capable of making what would be an otherwise very boring activity (watching 5 days of video) very interesting (yes, this was all in one sentence, oopsie daisy). I'm narrating in my head everything that's happening as you're doing things (including the places you enter (shrines, houses, etc) and the landscapes around you, the directions you take, often also the time of day, temperature and weather forecast), pretending I'm creating myself a video for the visually impaired to enjoy the BOTW experience (I have ADHD, my mind is very weird, bear with me, this is just a typical day xD) and I gotta say, apart from the conversations with NPCs and other characters, where I need to reduce the speed of the video down to 85%, your slow pace is almost perfect for it. I'm pretty confident that if someone actually went ahead and decided to actually do that (preferably someone who knows how to narrate better than I do xD) it would be very much feasible. Oh no, I've done it again, I'm overshared. Sorry 'bout that, I tend to do that. TL;DR: good job, noice. Edit: Also, have you ever heard of cubic bombs and sledgehammers? xD, I've never seen you use cubic bombs to destroy bombable walls (even in sloped terrain) or sledgehammers to destroy ores (seems like you prefer to bomb them and chase after the yeeted gems) once in the first 6.5h of the game. Edit 2: it took you almost 16h to get the Sheikah armour. How on earth did you manage to go that long without getting it xD Edit 3: 17:14:06 Symin wasn't in the mood to be ignored so he used some Jedi trick to close the door on you. With how i structured this playthrough, i was severely under leveled for most of the game. So when i'm running away from enemies, it's because those standard enemies will literally kill me in two hits dude

So I just finished my first playthrough during Holiday 2023, and I literally would put this on after my own longplay sessions and go to sleep. Usually I would put on Family Guy, but BOTW is so relaxing, all I wanted was to watch Link as if he were his own person and learn from him.
My first full playthrough would probably be longer than this one here because I'm such a Role Player.
When it was time for me to eat, if I wasn't in the middle of a shrine or a Divine Beast, I would take Link home and to the table at his house while I ate and meditated on materials I need for equipment and Koroks to return to.
I mess with the clothes way too much and I always go home and gear down when *I'm* ready for bed for the night.
And I had Link walk.
Like. . . A lot.. . . If he wasnt walking, he was riding ~Tilde~ the horse
And let me tell you, the way ~Tilde~ became not just a tool but HER OWN Hero in my playthrough. . .
The developers put SO MUCH into the horses. They have personalities and my heart would race whenever a Guardian would target us because I'm not worried about Link getting hit. . . I'm worried about protecting my horse.
The developers created horses that you actually come to love and care for and mourn the loss of. In a modern world where we all dream of knowing what horses were like before so much captivity and overall disrespect for the poor creatures. . . BOTW is a game I can call A Horseman's Dream.
And then. . . With the walking, comes all of the intake of all the scenery, and taking enough time to observe an NPC being attacked by Bokoblins. . .
People who have said they've played this for 50 hours and it's a terrible game don't understand that this is quite a bit more than just a game.
And there are some other things in my playthrough I won't share until I release a playthrough of my own that I can't discuss, because part of BOTW is that every player discovers their own play style.
Where I can see where our play styles vary, I also see tremendous similarities that are separate from the basic "anybody can do this" mechanics.
Watching your playstyle, my gamer spirit feels a sense of a bond with yours.
And that kinda brings me back to the days of sharing my bedroom with my brother over the weekend while we played Ocarina of Time on the GameCube, the way my uncle and I played it on the 64.
I'm nobody, but you have one of my highest honors and respects in gamer acknowledgement.

Didn’t see this in the comments or maybe I missed it, but: it seems like you missed some chests in The Great Plateau. If I remember right, there are 2 behind the waterfall in the cold region of that area. Didn’t see you go there, at least not in your initial combing of the area. Will keep watching to see if you go back and grab them.

Jokes aside, I'm watching this walkthrough in its entirety (1/20th of the way in as I write this) because my laptop is too terrible for me to emulate games as heavy as this one (I'm saving for an actual computer but that will take some time and I lack patience lol) and because I managed to play almost the entire game once without everything fatally crashing (minus the Calamity Ganon battle and the Trial of the Sword (and most of the Koroks), but those are the very end of the game) (meaning the game doesn't lose its fun if I watch this now (if it was the other way around it would definitely lose its fun, if I played for the 1st time after watching this walkthrough)) so I already know pretty much everything that happens; so, why try to play the whole game again at like 0.5fps and take 6 months to reach the halfway point of the game (let alone actually finishing it) just for it to crash again near the end if I can just watch this instead and have more fun watch this at full speed than play at barely any speed; and I just want to say, kudos to you for making this, I love how you're playing the game so far, with no rushes and doing things methodically (all the main and side quests in the region at once, then all the shrines, then all the koroks, then all the chests, then all other stuff) and I love how you're capable of making what would be an otherwise very boring activity (watching 5 days of video) very interesting (yes, this was all in one sentence, oopsie daisy).
I'm narrating in my head everything that's happening as you're doing things (including the places you enter (shrines, houses, etc) and the landscapes around you, the directions you take, often also the time of day, temperature and weather forecast), pretending I'm creating myself a video for the visually impaired to enjoy the BOTW experience (I have ADHD, my mind is very weird, bear with me, this is just a typical day xD) and I gotta say, apart from the conversations with NPCs and other characters, where I need to reduce the speed of the video down to 85%, your slow pace is almost perfect for it. I'm pretty confident that if someone actually went ahead and decided to actually do that (preferably someone who knows how to narrate better than I do xD) it would be very much feasible.

Edit: Also, have you ever heard of cubic bombs and sledgehammers? xD, I've never seen you use cubic bombs to destroy bombable walls (even in sloped terrain) or sledgehammers to destroy ores (seems like you prefer to bomb them and chase after the yeeted gems) once in the first 6.5h of the game.
Edit 2: it took you almost 16h to get the Sheikah armour. How on earth did you manage to go that long without getting it xD
